I woke up the next day to a text from my dad

My father

My father: WHERE ARE YOU?
My father: KATHRYN ITS IMPORTANT COME HOME
My father: KATHRYN I HAVE NEWS.

Me: I was catching up with Payton we went to the tree house and guess we fell asleep

My father: what do you mean catching up?

Me: we're gonna fix our friendship

My father: oh ok well get home I have something to tell you.

Me: is it bad?

My father: just come home.

I woke up Payton "hey Payt my dad needs me home" I said "okay I'll walk with you" he smiled. We stayed to walk to my house and when we got there I saw James, Jimmy, and Deyton all outside.

"What are y'all doing here?" I asked "I think dad should tell you" James said sadly. I walked inside to see Trevor crying. He never cries.

"What's wrong?" I asked "Kathryn sit down" my dad said "Kathryn your mom s-she um...she passed awash yesterday" he said "WHAT?! No no no t-this can't be happening" I said starting to cry.

"H-how?" I asked "she had a heart attack and they couldn't save her. I found out last night and that's where we went, we didn't go to the bar" he said grabbing my hand

"Where are the boys going to stay?" I asked "here I'm going to clean up my office and make it into a bed room for Deyton and for the twins I'm you g to make a room in the basement" he said

"I-I need some air" I said as I ran out side to see Payton talking to the boys "hey sunshine is everything okay?" He asked I just hugged him

After I explained everything I saw Evelynn pull up in her car "hey love" she said I ran to her and hugged her tight. "Happy birthday" I said crying still

"Thanks love" she said rubbing my back. After I calmed down she looked at me and smiled. "What's that?" She asked looking at my neck.

Shit I forgot about the hickie. "D-did you have sex?" She asked laughing "n-no i-it's from my curling wand" I stuttered "hunny your hair isn't curled" she said laughing again.

"Awe you're adorable. Who did you do it with?" She asked "uh...um" I said scared looking at the ground.  "NO WAY!" She yelled "what?" Payton said

"You two had sex?" She said "y-yeah" I stuttered. "That's cute" she said almost falling over fro laughing. "What's going on?" I heard Trevor ask "t-they...oh my god" Evelynn laughed.

"Hey kiddo you have a hickie" Trevor said pointing to my neck "yeah yeah I know" I said slapping his hand away. "Damn Payton so do yo...OH HELL NO!" He yelled

I looked at Payton's neck to see a very prominent hickie. Oh shit. "D-did you two?" He asked I just nodded my head slowly "I think I'm gonna be sick" he said fake gagging.

"Fuck you" I said punching him. "Someone better help me hide it before dad sees it" I said "I already saw it" I heard someone say. "Shit" I mumbled

"Hi daddy" I said quietly "hi" he said looking at my neck then looking at Payton "you better be glad I like you son" he walked inside.

"I'm starving" I sighed "let's go get lunch" Evelynn said "okay You boys wanna come?" I asked "yes" they all said "dad we'll be back" I said before leaving.

We sat down at the restaurant the waiter is someone I used to go to school with "oh my god hey Kathryn" he said "hey Ashton" I smiled "wow you look different" he said

"I look the same as the last time you saw me" I laughed "how's the baby?" He asked I was very confused "baby? What baby?" I asked "your baby silly?" He said I looked at him with a confused look.

"Did you not have a baby?" He asked "no" I said "huh? That's what Makayla told everyone. She said you moved to LA because you slept with a 20 year old got pregnant and your dad kicked you out" he said

"WHAT?" I yelled everyone in the restaurant looked at us. "Oh shit" he said "I-I need to go" I said getting up "Kathryn...Kathryn wait" I heard Evelynn yell

"DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS?" I asked crying "I-I" she said "you did. AND YOU DID FUCKING THINK TO TELL ME?" I yelled "Kathryn I-I'm sorry okay look I didn't know what to do" she said

"You ducking tell your best friend that someone said she was pregnant. I can't believe you" I said crying. She didn't say anything.

"When you be an actual good best friend then call me I'm done" I said walking away.

I walked to Makaylas house. I knocked on the door to see Lanie Makaylas little sister. "Kathryn" she said hugging me "hey Lanie. Is Makayla home?" I asked hugging her back

"Yeah she's in her room" she said with a smile "thank you" I said satarting the walk to her room. I knocked on the door "come in" she said

I opened the door and when she saw the her eyes got wide "oh my god Kathryn" she said getting up to hug me "don't you dare touch me" I said sternly she just looked at me "you took everyone I was pregnant?!" I said "I-I everyone was asking where you went so I made up a lie" she said

"You could have just told people I don't know maybe it's non of your business or she moved with her mom" I said very mad

"I'm sorry" she said "I don't care if you're sorry don't EVER tell anyone they someone is pregnant even if it's a lie" I said before running out of her house.

When I got home I ran up to my room slammed the door and started to cry. "Sweetheart can I come in?" I heard Kelly ask "yeah" I sniffled "what's wrong?" She asked sitting on my bed

I explained everything to her and she hugged me. "I'm so sorry" she said rubbing my back "I can't trust anyone anymore" I said "you can always trust me" she said with a smile

"Thank you" I replied "sunshine?" I heard Payton ask "I'll leave you two alone" Kelly said leaving "hey sunshine" Payton said laying next to me on my bed

"Hi" I said as he rapped his arm around me "I'm always going to be here" he said "promise?" I asked "promise" he said kissing my forehead.
