It was the middle of the night, I couldn't manage to sleep. A lot has happened in the last few days, last few months, I thought to myself. The crescent moon was beautiful, along with it came numerous stars. I wonder if they have names, if someone could actually take the time to know each one and call them by their names.

What a wicked world, I thought.

"Can't sleep, Murai?" I looked over my shoulder and saw Jae-ha, I hadn't talked to him much since the events in Awa. I hadn't talked to him at all, actually.

"It's been a while" I said.

"I don't know how you manage it" he said to me "no under eye bags with little to no sleep" he exclaimed, that caused me to grin.

"Now that's better" he said to me with a grin as he placed both his indicator fingers on the edges of my mouth, simulating a smile "now tell me, princess. What do you guys do for fun?" he asked.

"We've just been traveling this whole time, I guess when you're running away you forget certain pleasures are needed" I thought out loud.

"I was the dragon you were missing, a lot is going to change around here" he said with a cheeky grin and I smiled.

"Thank you, Jae-ha. Never really did thank you for coming with us, after when happened in Awa" I said "it must have been hard leaving the ship"

"I didn't have much to lose there, nor do I have here" he said looking me in the eye "it's hard when you're tied up in relations with people, but I'm guessing this will change here with you" he said winking and I brushed him off.

"Typical man-whore" I said rolling my eyes and he punched my arm playfully.

"So" he said pointing to Hak, he was sleeping on the other side of the fire we had running "what's up with you two?"

"It's hard to explain" I said resting a hand on my cheek, to prevent him from seeing my possible blushing self, but then I remembered it was night.

Baka. I thought.

"We do have the whole night, Murai" he said wrapping his arm around my shoulder and pulling me closer to him which I reluctantly tried to push away "calm down, woman. It's a master-servant thing" he said flirtatiously and I rolled my eyes once again.

"You're impossible, you know that?" I said with a pout as he laughed.

"It's still true though" he said "now, come on. Tell me everything"

Eventually I had fallen asleep, but what I realized when I woke up is that I had slept in Jae-ha's arms the whole night. We spent hours talking about my life before in the castle and talking about his days as a pirate, I must have drifted asleep in the middle of the process.

I carefully unwrapped myself from his embrace to prevent him from waking up (with success because he was a very heavy sleeper). It was dawn, I looked around me and saw that the whole crew was asleep, but one placed remained empty... Hak.

As I walked to the river, that we all discovered a couple of days ago, I kept on thinking about Hak. He couldn't have seen me, could he? I thought.

Then I came to realization that nothing had happened between Jae-ha and I, although it may seem weird from an outsiders view. Besides, I thought again, Hak and I had nothing and he made it pretty clear.

All of those thoughts that leaved me stressed immediately disappeared when I saw the river, it was calm and it's waters shone as the dawn's light reflected on it.

I started undressing myself and stepping in to it, there were plenty of rocks that formed a barrier, preventing anyone that came from the left side of the stream (usually where people from camp would come) to see whoever was bathing. We also had established a rule: boys would bathe at night and girls by dawn, or whenever the boys were done at night. So I knew that at this time, no one, except Yona, would come by.

As soon as I finished bathing, I stood up to fetch my clean dress that I had left by the river, only to be surprised to see someone sitting beside the river, making me fall back behind the rock I was once bathing.

"Out of all things, but I think you were better than being a pervert, Hak!" I exclaimed placing my palms on my face, I could feel my cheeks burning in embarrassment.

I looked behind the rock and saw that he had dropped his quandao and was turned against me, with his left hand on his face.

I knew Hak. In a situation like this he would say nothing, although he doesn't admit it, or tries to show it, he is shy at some points. I was relieved he didn't say anything, he just stood there paralyzed.

"Hak"

"Yes, princess?"

"Could you give me my clothes, while you're standing there?"

The whole walk back to camp was filled with silence, I honestly don't know how this situation could be worse.

I walked behind Hak, he insisted to, to protect me if any danger came ahead.

Yeah, right.

It's been almost ten minutes since we started out walk, there were still another good ten minutes for the rest of the way. When I thought the situation couldn't get any worse, I tripped over a stone and fell. If it were any other situation Hak would've laughed at me and I would scold him for doing so, but instead he came to my aid. He kneeled down to look at my leg, he saw that my foot was bleeding.

"How did you cut yourself so deep" he muttered under his breath.

"I'm fine" I said looking at my foot, while he took the cloth that protected his quandao's blade and started to wrap it around my injury, then he took my leg and placed it upon his knee "it's to slow down the blood flow" he said.

We stood there, for quite some time. Hak looked around, while I stood there, not meeting his gaze.

"I don't know what's worse" I muttered under my breath, gaining his attention "you seeing me naked or pretending we never kissed, pathetic" I mumbled, then his eyes locked with mine.

"Guess that's enough time to slow your blood flow, we better get going" he said, while swooping me off my feet and carrying me in his arms.

"You're a jerk, you know that?" I said "you led me on knowing that you wanted nothing, is that what you meant when you wanted me to pay you back in Fuuga?! You saw I wasn't good enough and bailed out"

He still said nothing, I knew he probably wouldn't, it was Hak. I still hoped he would, though.

That's when I jumped out of his embrance and he looked at me startled.

"Are you insane?! It's almost like you want to get hurt" He said crossing his arms.

"I can walk by myself"
