We   left the castle and started to run deep in to the forest. No one noticed our escape, so as we went deep in to the mountain trails we slowed our pace a bit. Hak leaded us to the right path through the mountains, he held Yona's hand and I was in the back. Yona was paralised by everything that happened tonight, our fathers death, So-Woon's betrayal, and our entire world, everything we knew was gone.

I couldn't help but let some tears escape when I think about the palace servant Min-Soo, and how he sacrifised himself for us. And to think of Haru... I don't know what So-Woon is capable of doing with her.

As we hiked on the forest trails, my breath became heavier in every step. Even training with Hak, I wasn't used to the life outside the palace like he was. I knew the kingdom's history and geography, but that wasn't enough to survive out here.

Yona stopped herself, she leaned on a tree and started panting. Hak looked at us and rushed over to Yona.

"Princess" said as he leaned against the tree "Should we rest a while?" He asked with an arched eyebrown and she nodded, as he helped her sit down.

Yona leaned against a rock close to me, while Hak and I leaned against a tree. I folded Hak's quandao protector, as he sharpened his quandao. No one have said anything in quite a while, Yona stopped panting and she leaned against my shoulder.

"Is Min-Soo... Dead?" Yona asked us as both me and Hak exchanged glances.

"Am I going to die, too?" She asked us and I hugged her tightly "Will So-Woon kill you Hak?" she asked as tears tempted to roll down her rosy cheeks.

"I'm not letting that piece of crap take my life" He gritted his teeth. I handed him his protector and he put it away.

"Please don't die...I wouldn't forgive both of you if you did" Yona said between tears as she fell asleep.

I leaned her on the tree, and took off my purple vest. I covered her like it was a blanket, and pulled some strands of hair out of her eyes. I was now left with a loose light purple kimono, made with a really thin material. Hak started to walk out but I held his arm.

"Where are you going?" I asked him.

"Wood for the fire" He said and he left.

Hak had finished assembling the fire, and as the flames danced, my body trembled. The night was so cold, even more after I gave my vest to Yona. Both my arms were wrapping my body. Hak sat next to me and took off his blue vest and handed it to me.

"But you'll be..." I tried to argue but he shushed my lips.

"Just put it on Murai" He said, I mumbled a 'thank you' to him as I put his vest on myself.

He put both of his hands against his head as he laid on the ground and I laid beside him.

"Thank you Hak" I said to him as he turned around to me with quirked eyebrowns.

"Princess you don't have to thank me twice" He said but I shook my head.

"No" I said to him "Thank you for looking out for me and my sister" I said to him as he stared in to my violet eyes.

"Just doing my job" He said but I arched an eyebrown.

"The king is dead, you don't need to look out for us anymore" I said to him as he kissed my head.

"Good night princess" He mumbled as he drift to sleep.
