At heated make-out session on Harry's bed is something just about every straight girl in our school has fantasized about at some point. I'm no exception to this.
The fact that I am now taking part in the reality of it I almost can't believe it myself.
Harry's room is painted a dark blue color and his plaid bed sheets match them perfectly. The only light comes in through the window in the ceiling just above us.
We have been locking lips on and off for the past forty five minutes and I'm nowhere near tired of it yet. My phone has other plans however, the ringtone bouncing off the walls.
Harry paws around the comforter for it with half his brain still really willing to stop what we have going. He peeks at the screen.
"Why is Mia Chang calling you on a Friday night?"
I sigh and plant one quick kiss on his lips before taking the phone.
"I set her up with Calum. They're on a date."
"Then let them be so we can continue."
"It'll only be a minute. I think you can last that long," I smile. I get off the bed and accept the call as I step out of the room. "Hey, Mia. How it going?"
"It not going," she says, and she doesn't sound all too happy. "Next time you set someone up, maybe set them up with someone who won't stand them up. It's humiliating and I have way better things to do with my time than sit and wait all night for a boy to show up."
"What are you talking about?"
"I have been waiting for Calum for the past hour," she informs me.
"Calum wouldn't do that," I tell her, and she follows up with a chuckle.
"I should have known he's still too hung up on Michelle to be serious about this."
"Calum wouldn't do that without giving you a call or something. Something must have happened."
"It's whatever. You can count me out of any future dates."
"Mia—" She hangs up to leave me perplexed. I shake my head and find Calum's number, waiting impatiently for him to pick up.
"What's up, Chandler—"
"What the hell, Calum!" He stays quiet on the other end. "I just got a call from Mia Chang telling me you stood her up. What's that all about?"
"I just don't feel like I'm ready."
"And you couldn't just tell her that?"
"No."
"You are such a boy."
"And you didn't know that?"
"It's not a good enough excuse to act like an absolute dick."
