Maria was standing in the open air on set before filming begins, she was holding her bag ready for the scene when her phone suddenly rang. She quickly took out her phone and answered the call.
Maria : Hi honey.
Adrian : Hey sweetie.
Maria : I'm in a middle of a scene right now, is everything's okay?
Adrian : yeah. but it's kinda an emergency ?
Maria : what?
Adrian : I need a favor.
Maria : Anything.
Adrian : I need you to call the blonde lady asking for supply.
Maria : I already got some why would i need more. are you having a party?
Adrian : No. Just call her ask for some and be a little mad with me.
Maria : okay! Adrian what's going on?
Adrian explained to Maria his plan to deceive Grace Parker. He told her to call Sidney as if she needed more drug, and to talk badly about him and how he was mistreating her and that she wanted to get rid of him.
All Adrian was thinking of was that Sidney would hang up with Maria then talk to Grace and tell her what Maria had told her. Then Grace will think that she can convince Maria to work for her. But of course Adrian did not tell Maria that she is the pig waiting for slaughtering.
Maria : Okay i will call her in a while.
Adrian : Thanks baby, okay tell me when you call her okay?
Maria : okay, bye.
Maria finished the call and stood there for a while trying to tie the threads and events together. She is not stupid tho, Adrian must have no good intentions out of this. However, she will do it because he is Adrian Dawson who will pay her big cash in the end.
She looked for a Sidney's number in her phone and then pressed the call button.
Sidney : Hello!
Maria : Hi how are you?
Maria's tone seemed so tense and high that Sidney noticed it but she didn't comment.
Sidney : Fine!
Maria : Listen i need some, right now.
Sidney : already!! Honey it's not candy you know? you could die overdose.
Maria : Well I'm sorry that you are not dealing with the shit i'm dealing with.
Then Maria started to fake crying.
Sidney : What shit are you dealing with.
Maria : Adrian Dawson for example. He's a horrible person.
Sidney : Really? He's a billionaire.
Maria : Ugh, So! does that make him better? he hit me and insults me in every possible way and only drugs makes me better. I can't feel pain when i'm on drugs.
Sidney : Okay Okay, calm down. I will see you in 2 hours.
Maria smiled for herself.
Maria : Actually i am busy for the next few hours, why don't i give you a call?
Sidney : Okay whatever see you.
Sidney ended the call and then stared into nothing for some times, she was thinking. She felt that she should talk to Grace as she did not want to be arrested for the crime as she delivering some goods to Maria anymore.
She called Grace's number and kept listening to her ring bell for a while until she answered.
Grace : Yes?
Sidney : I got news.
Grace : tell me.
Sidney : Maria called me asking for drugs and she was crying telling me she needs it because her boyfriend is hitting and abusing her.
Grace : What! Adrian! Really?
Sidney : I know. I never thought Adrian Dawson would do such a thing to a famous actress, or anybody else in matter of facts!
Grace : You know what Sidney, This is so helpful, thank you so much.
Grace ended the call with Sidney and quickly searched for Maria's number in the database in the computer in front of her and then called her.
Maria : Hello!
Grace : Hi is this is Maria Carter?
Maria : Yes? Who is this?
Grace : Oh you don't know me. I am Grace Parker from the FBI.
Maria : Oh. Should i be worried?
Grace : Not at all. I just need to meet you to discus a case that we believe that you can help us with it.
Maria : Oh interesting. Okay tonight at my apartment, I'm sure you have the address the way you got the number right?
Grace : Oh haha. Yeah well i do.
Maria : Great. see you tonight then.
Maria ended the call and felt like she was trapped in a cage or something but she felt proud somehow.
