Attack On Titan // Shingeki No Kyojin

You've probably seen apocalypse shows with zombies or the world suddenly going to shit, take All those cliches and make it bigger, way bigger. At first glance this looks like another typical dystopian apocalyptic series, except humanity is threatened by giant, man-eating beings called Titans. These things roam the earth because humanity sucks at killing them. They forced the little percent of the human race Behind three walls; Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina. When a 60m Titan shows up and destroys the gate to Wall Maria, humanity is forced back even more. The only people who dare to kill the beings (and completely fail as usual) are called the Survey Corps. When the main character, Eren, loses someone special to the Titans he changes his goals and ways to kill all the Titans.

As sarcastic as I was, this is actually a pretty good series, 4/5. The issue is, if you're sensitive to gore or death then don't watch it. Also, don't get attached to a character, trust me.

Speaking of useless characters, my favorite would definitely have to be Jean Kirschtein (voiced by Mike McFarland in the Dub and Kisho Taniyama in the Sub). He just has something about him that draws you in and make you say "what is wrong with you?"

This is very well-known for its badass openings. My personal favorite is Red Swan by Yoshiki ft. Hyde. It's far different from the other ones but it's so pretty and I adore the two people that did it so forgive me for being biased. My favorite ending is probably Utsukushiki Zankoku Na Sekai by Yoko Hikasa. It's just so pretty and her voice is so pretty and it really sets the tone.
