Honestly, this anime was much better than I expected. I tend to not like the light-hearted popular animes, but damn, I was pleasantly surprised. Since this is so popular, I doubt I need to do a long explanation. So basically, everyone in the world have a powerful trait called a quirk, but there is a small percentage of the population that doesn't have one. Our sweet protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, is part of small percentage. He grows up with no powers and basically worships the number one hero like he's a God. After an encounter with said hero, he's given a chance to inherit the hero's power. After a shit ton of training, he's ready. He gets the power by eating a piece of hair, I'm not kidding. Now, he goes through the adventure of becoming a pro hero after so many years of hopelessness.

Like I said at the beginning, I didn't think I would like this show. Now, I'm giving it a 4.5/5. Most characters were charming and hilarious, even the side characters got the perfect amount of screen time, not to mention it has the best character introductions. I would've given it 5 rating but I absolutely despise one of the main characters so that's kind of a deal breaker.

So I said it had charming characters and honestly it's an understatement. You have no idea how hard it was to choose a favorite character, so I decided to go with the one I'm most in love with, Momo Yaoyorozu (played by Colleen Clinkenbeard in the dub and Marina Inoue in the sub). Not only am I hopelessly gay for her, she's one of the most emotionally compelling characters. She's kind-hearted, hilarious, friends with everyone, and I'm endlessly entertained by her.

Just like characters, it was very hard to choose an opening, but at the end of it, I have to go with Peace Sign by Kenshi Yonezu. I'm not biased, I swear. Season 2 was honestly my favorite season and the opening was just as good. The season introduced me to so many amazing characters and had a lot of emotional moments and I can't express my love for it enough. My favorite ending is probably Dakara, Hiroti Ja Nai by Little Glee Monster. I like it so much because it follows the main female characters (who are the best characters, come at my gay ass, I dare you). It's also really pretty and I often find myself humming it a lot
