I Want To Eat Your Pancreas // Kimi No Suizou Wo Tabetai

I'm depressed. This movie is about a boy who meets a girl at the hospital. This girl is one of the most popular girls in school. Her name is Sakura. She has a pancreatic disease that is slowly killing her. While in the hospital, the boy finds the journal the girl uses to document her life until her death. They become friends as Sakura completes her bucket list with him.

I give this movie a 5/5. It was so beautiful and sad. The writing was amazing, and the characters were likeable, it was just so good. I'm not one for romance stuff, but the romance in this is subtle and easy to watch (if that makes sense). I really recommend you watch it if you want to get slapped in the feels.

My favorite character would definitely have to be Sakura. I love how she coped with the illness. It reminded me a lot of my granpa who passed recently and it's nice to see people embrace the fact they're gonna die and live an even better life up until then. 

This is a movie, so there isn't really an opening but the ending is Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu by Sumika. It's a really pretty song and just added on to the emotions you were already feeling at the end.
