“Good morning sunshine” he wokes up as he kissed me at my forehead.

“You're having a good night sleep huh? I heard you snoring last night” natatawang sabi ko sa kanya saka ako bumangon at nagstretch ng katawan ko.

“What? I did not. I don't snore. Maybe that was you and you are blaming me” he protested.

“Look I have a proof” I took my phone at pinakita ko sa kanya yung video na naghihilik siya habang tulog.

“See?” he rolled his eyes nang bigla niya akong niyakap at hiniga sa kama, pumaibabaw naman siya sa akin.

“I love you”

“I love you too” as I replied he was about to kiss me not until..

“WAKEY WAKEY, YOU LOVERS!” Cohen hissed and I giggled. Nakita ko naman si Reo may dalang sandok at kaldero na ginamit niya panghahampas.

“What the hell, Reo” tumatawa naman si Reo habang nakita niyang binaling ang ulo ni Cohen sa kanya.

“Alam niyo, magjowa na kayo lagi naman kayong maghahalikan anytime and anywhere. Saka sakop na sakop mo na si Heather, sayong sayo na siya kaya ikalma mo yang bayag mo at gumising ka na! Kami ang kinukulit nila tita Klea para gisingin ka” umalis naman sa ibabaw ko si Cohen saka ako bumangon at tinakpan ang katawan ko ng kumot dahil sobrang revealing rin ng pajama na suot ko.

And yes, kami na ni Cohen. After a month of courting I did a little surprised for him just to say yes, the answer that he really wanted.

“Why? Did she tell you the reason?” tanong ni Cohen, pumasok naman si Reo at umupo habang ininom ang kape.

“Ugh a coffee for a beautiful morning. So uhm, yes she called me, well not just me but all of us. Pero ako ang kinulit ng mga hampaslupa mong kaibigan–”

“Your friends also” singit ni Cohen sa kanya.

“Oh right, yes my motherfucker friends also. Ako ang pinili nila na gisingin ka, si Hades sana iyon pero kilala mo naman yun isang tingin niya lang sayo parang gusto ka na niyang isasama sa empyerno kaya ako na, sige ako ang mabait ako na ang gumising sayo and..” he sipped the coffee again.

“Are you even aware that you are drinking MY coffee?” Cohen asked.

“Yes I am aware, I never had a coffee this morning. Look at me, I'm still at my boxer and shirt you asshole. So yeah again continue, your mom didn't tell me the reason why she called us. She just told us to wake you up and now you're awake then call her for god's sake” agad namang pinulot ni Cohen ang phone niya mula sa drawer bago niya ibinalik ang tingin niya kay Reo.

“Reo, get out. My girlfriend is still in her pajamas”

“Oh right, sorry. Thanks for the coffee by the way, I love it. Bye see you later” sabay sarado niya sa pintuan, tumawa lang ako dahil sa kinikilos ni Reo kanina.

“Sorry for that”

“It's okay, I'm used to it. I'll take a shower while you are talking to your mom” he nodded, I took the towel then I goes to the shower.

NAKAUPO naman ako sa may teresa habang nakalapag na sa tamang pwesto sa mesa ang laptop ko habang tinatawagan si mommy.

“Hey baby!” she greeted with a flying kiss.

“Mom, I'm already 27 years old. And not a baby anymore” Klea smiled at him.

“Oh don't be silly.”

“By the way, ano pala ang meron bakit dinisturbo mo pa ata iyong kagrupo?” tanong ko habang nagtitimpla ng kape.

“Because tomorrow is a big day! We're going home tomorrow and I am so excited to meet your girlfriend” natutuwang sambit ni mommy, I almost stunned but I smiled at her nervously.

“Oh yay, I am so excited to see you mom. Don't worry you will meet her soon” nakahawak lang ako sa baso habang kinokontrol ang nerbyos ko.

“Are you okay there?” mom asked.

“He looks so great wife. Maybe, you should hang up. You excite him” nakita ko naman na tumabi si dad sa kanya, agad niya akong kinindatan and saying I got you bud

“Kakatawag lang namin ah. What's with you two? Magkasabwat na naman ba kayo?”

“No wife. We haven't talk for like a month right Cohen?”

“Oh yes mom, dad's right. I'm just busy though.” tumango tango naman si mom.

“Hey love” binaling ko naman ang tingin ko kay Heather, nakatuwalya lang ito habang nakatingin sa akin.

“Who's that? Is that your girlfriend? Can I meet her?” tanong ni mommy sa kabilang linya.

“Is that your mom love? Can I see her?” tanong ni Heather, I gulped.

“Ah, h-hello? Mom? My girlfriend wanted to talk to y–Mom? He–” I turned off the wifi then the call immediately disconnected.

“Mabagal ata signal nila. Don't worry we will meet th tomorrow. So dress up, we are going shopping” agad akong tumayo at kinuha ang kape ko.

NAKATINGIN naman ako kay Cohen bumaba siya, kakain ata siya ng breakfast. Napansin ko naman na may kakaiba sa laptop kaya tinitigan ko ito, hindi nakaconnect sa wifi.

Tumingin rin ako sa saksakan ng wifi malapit lang sa mesa, hindi ito nakasaksak. Now that's weird, how could he do that? Maybe he don't want me to meet his mom?

Natauhan ako bigla nang tinawag ako ni Cohen mula sa baba kaya umalis ako para magbihis.

“Hey earth on Heather, you okay? Kanina ka pa tulala” Maru snapped her fingers, natauhan ako at ininom yung juice na binigay sa akin.

Nasa restaurant ako kasama si Maru lumabas muna kami sa isla dahil nagshoshopping kami ni Cohen para bukas, andito rin si Maru kasi kahapon siya lumabas ng isla at nagstay muna dito sa City habang hindi sila okay ni Huston.

They are completely have this misunderstanding for now that Maru couldn't even share it to me even though we're bestfriends. But I respect her privacy and I know they will fix it.

“Nagtataka lang ako eh” sagot ko.

“About what?”

“Kaninang umaga pinuntahan kami ni Reo kanina at sabi na tawagan ni Cohen mom niya. Nung gusto ko sana makausap mom niya through video call, sabi niya na humina ang signal kaya naputol ang call. Pero nung tiningnan ko yung laptop niya naka-off ang wifi at hindi nakasaksak ang wifi.”

“Isn't it, that strange?” I asked while she's looking at me.

“Maybe he wanted to surprise you or he wanted you meet her in person not through video call kasi gabi na rin naman sa kanila sa oras na ito. Kaya mas maganda na ata yung sa personal kayo magkakausap, diba?” I nodded my head then I ate my steak.

“I guess you're right.”

“He's coming” nakita ko naman si Cohen papalapit ito sa table namin.

“So ready to go?” I nodded my head before I stood up.

“Gotta go Maru take care” agad naman kaming lumabas sa restaurant at sumakay sa kotse.

“It's already 6 pm. Darating rin tayo sa isla in 9 pm, don't worry sa cruise naman tayo ni Huston sasakay kaya makakapagpahinga tayo” he kissed my forehead then I smiled at him.
