Chap 4

*Zak POV*

It's been a few weeks into me and Dave's relationship. He's really serious about not wanting anyone to know, the only time we would kiss or anything would either be at our house or somewhere privately in school. But then, he started hanging out with other people, and his attitude just changed. He wouldn't hang out with the rest of us that often anymore. He started lashing out to the others, he and Adam almost gotten into a fight because of it. He's even been acting differently towards me. Right now we were at my house and we just finished... doing "that".

Zak: That was amazing, your thing felt amazing.

Dave: Of course you liked it, I am the best.

Zak: Hell yeah you are. (Kissed him)

Dave: Well, I'm going to go now. I told Jay I'll hang out with him.

Zak: Wait what? I thought we were going out today?

Dave: Yeah, sorry. I promise we'll do something tomorrow. (Puts his clothes back on

That's the third time you said that this week.

Zak(really disappointed): Okay, go with them. I'll see you tomorrow then. (Lay's back in his bed.)

Dave: Thanks, see you Zak. (Just walked out)

He barely spends time with me now. It's like after we have sex, he always has something planned right after. Why would he say he would hang out with me, then just has plans somewhere else. I don't know how to feel about this.

*in school next day*
(Lunch period)

I was sitting at our lunch table by myself, no one came yet, but then Darryl eventually.

Darryl: Hey Zak!

Zak: Hey Darryl.

I then decided to ask him about Dave, from what Dave told me, him and Darryl went to the same middle school and their friend kind of.

Zak: Hey um Darryl, can I ask you something?

Darryl: Yeah of course. What is it?

Zak: It's about Dave. You know him better than any of us.

Darryl: Well kind of. We weren't as close in middle school as we are now.

Zak: Have you noticed how weird he's been acting? Like he kind of ditched us to hang out with people.

Darryl: Well, he has done it in middle school. He would always change his friend group. Or just be in multiple ones.

Zak: So we kinda don't mean anything to him?

Darryl: It doesn't seem like that. He just likes having a lot of friends I guess. But it's fine.

Zak: I guess...

Darryl: Why you ask? Did you two like argue or something.

Zak: No, wasn't anything like that, just curious.

(Everyone else came to the table, except Dave)

I really have to talk to Dave, I really feel strange about the way he's acting. I decided to wait after the lunch period to go and talk to him, he was with his 'other friends'

Zak(going up to Dave): Dave. Can I talk to you.. in private? Please.

Dave(looked over to his friend): I'll catch up with you guys in a few, gotta do something really quick. (Walked away with Zak)
