Gerard walked off stage after the concert, Bert pat his shoulder as he walkedby. The Used had the next set. Jeph and him shared a look and then they walked up onto the stage. Gerard grabbed a waterbottle, he didn't feel like drinking alcohol at the time. Gerard sat down on a steel crate that was used to store Bob's drums. He ran his fingers through his hair with a sigh. He felt so distant, like he was floating around and watching his own body.

"How you feelin', brother?" Mikey asked with a can of Coke Zero in his hand. Gerard looked at his brother and offered a small smile.

"I'm fine, just tired." Gerad answered.

"Tired? You were all over the place!" Brian said, he had a can of beer in his hands. Gerard could just hear the little voice in his head, just edging him to get one.

"You had me beat, Gee!" Frank chimed in, he hopped up beside Gerard and nudged his shoulder. Gerard nodded slowly, he felt on edge. He took a long drink of water. The can in Brian's hand tempted him. Brian noticed him staring and got a concerned look.

"Gerard, can I talk to you?" Brian asked. Gerard got off the crate and nodded. The band managed pulled him aside and set both hands on Gerard's shoulders.

"What?" Gerard asked.

"You holding up alright? You seem a little off." Brian said, Gerard sighed.

"Yea, Bri. I'm fine. Just a little stressed that's all." Gerard told him. Brian pat his shoulder.

"Alright. Head back to the bus and get some rest." Brian said. Gerard nodded and walked away from Brian, he was going to the bus. Maybe open a few cans of beer, or maybe find his stash of cocaine.

He stepped inside teh bus and went to the small fridge. He got a can and stared at it. "Jesus, I hate you, Gerard." He said to himself as he opened up the can. He poured some into his mouth, the tangy taste shocked his tongue. "You don't need this." he whispered. He downed the can.

Gerard darank about six cans, found some chocolate in the back of the fridge, ate that and went to his bunk. He didn't make it to his bunk, he blacked out. The last thing he remembered was him dropping to the floor.
