It's your first day working full-time at a cute little place named Seijoh Day Care.

Truth be told, you didn't really know how to feel about kids. They were either really cute or straight up evil, and you decided to get a job here to decide if you actually wanted to stay in this field.

"Don't worry, they'll love you!" The owner chuckled.

You could have sworn there was a hint of sarcasm, but decided to dismiss it.

When you entered the main room, it was pure chaos. Children were literally jumping off the walls, screaming their heads off, or a combination of the two.

Although as soon as your presence was registered, everyone went silent.

This scared you more than their screaming.

"Hi everyone!" You smiled nervously before sitting on your knees before them. It was best to get down to eye-level with children in order to not seem intimidating.

"I like this one! She's pretty!" A little boy walked up to you and presented you to the other children. The name Oikawa Tooru was stitched on his shirt.

"Shut up Trashykawa!" Another, Iwaizumi Hajime, shouted from the very front.

"Now, that's not very nice, Iwaizumi." You promptly called him out for using such a demeaning nickname.

Another boy had snuck up beside you and began tugging at your sleeve. "What TikTok dances can you do?"

"Makki! Don't touch the queen!" Oikawa protested, slapping said boy's hand away.

You grabbed the brunette's hand and brought him to a secluded corner of the room. "Hitting is bad, Oikawa."

His eyes teared up as soon as he realized he was in trouble. "I-I know."

His cute puppy face was tempting you to give in and forget about it, but you had to do your job right. "Why did you hit Hanamaki?"

"Makki can be an ass sometimes." Matsukawa chimed in, answering for the boy.

"Language!" You briefly took your eyes off of Oikawa and he quickly slipped away from the disciplinary lesson.

Today was going to be a long day.

Nap time rolled around and the children were sleeping peacefully.

Well... all except one.

"Let go of me!" Iwaizumi struggled against the grip of his best friend.

You thought it was odd how Oikawa just fell asleep, but figured it was because his beloved "Iwa-chan" was beside him.

As you prepared for the next activity, you admired how adorable the children were. Not too long before this, they were jumping off the walls, so this newfound peace and quiet was perfect.

"Are you awake Iwaizumi?" You whispered, approaching said boy.

As soon as you asked this, he sat up. There were little tears sitting at the outer corners of his eyes. His face began to scrunch up.

"Did you have a scary dream?" You asked, opening your arms to welcome him into a hug. Iwaizumi was the toughest of all the boys but he wasn't immune to things like this.

The boy quickly got up and accepted your embrace. As soon as he had calmed down, he grew tired again. You laid him in his designated spot from earlier and lulled him to sleep once more.

Right when you got up, there was a tug at the bottom of your pants. You glanced down and spotted Hanamaki and Matsukawa.

"So can you do TikTok dances?"

"Does she even know how to dance?"

"Well yeah, she's not a baby."

"Or is she?"

"G-Go back to sleep!" You harshly whispered. These two were definitely something else.

"Sorry he's here so late!" During lunch time, someone had stumbled into the daycare to drop off one of the kids halfway through the day.

"Iwa-chan look! It's Mad Dog!" Oikawa pointed proudly at the sight of the male.

Kunimi noticeably scrunched his face before hiding behind Kindaichi.

It seemed as though everyone besides Iwaizumi and Oikawa avoided the boy.

Until...

"Come eat." Yahaba insisted, patting the seat beside him.

Kyotani growled at first, but reluctantly sat besides the light haired boy. You placed his tray of food in front of him and briefly patted his head.

Unbeknownst to you, he actually liked the physical contact. Everyone was always scared to approach him at first, but you seemed to be comfortable with him right away.

"Seconds!" Iwaizumi yelled, holding his spoon in the air. Kyotani's eyes widened before he began chowing down his food—his competitive instinct was kicking in.

Watari silently stared at him from across the table and slid him a cup of water. This small action made your heart melt. They were so cute looking after one another.

"Time to go home!" You called out, urging the nine children to gather their things.

"But, my Queen!" Oikawa clung onto your leg desperately. "I don't want to be separated!"

"Let go of Sensei!" Iwaizumi angrily tugged at the brunette's clothes—literally choking him.

"I'm going to post this on my mom's social media later." Hanamaki stated. That was when you realized he was taking a video with a phone.

"I promise I'll like the post." Matsukawa stated, before high-fiving the other.

"How did you even get that?" You asked, moving to take the device from them.

In a separate corner of the room, you witnessed Kyotani imitating Iwaizumi, but with Yahaba. On the other hand, Yahaba was clinging to Kumini and Kindaichi's legs for his life.

This was not how you wanted to end the day.

"My mom's here, bye everyone." Watari waved before stepping out of the room. Thankfully another worker had escorted him out.

Once all the children had gone home, your boss came to ask you about your first day.

"I don't even know how to feel." You sighed, slipping your outdoor shoes on.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow!" She chuckled and waved. "I believe you're going to be assigned to those kids from now on."

You could have sworn you heard her mumble a slight 'good luck', but maybe it was your imagination.
