Back on the road, Lindsey keeps entirely to himself. Stevie notices the distance and watches him carefully, unsure how to handle it. How badly had she hurt him? He couldn't be in any more pain than she was. It was amazing how much better she had gotten at keeping it together around the band.

At least, she that's what she tells herself.

It's an off night, and the band scatters, but Christine asks Stevie to have dinner with her. "A girls' night," she insists. They hadn't spent much time together on this tour, and Stevie took her up on the offer.

So tonight, they're occupying a dark booth, away from prying eyes, laughing and talking.

"What the hell happened over the break, Stevie? We're gone a week and you and Lindsey come back acting totally weird."

"We are?"

"It's not like you to hide in your room," she says. "And you've barely said two words to Lindsey. I thought you two were doing well."

"We are. Well, sort of. Christine... remember when I disappeared back in 1995?

"After Street Angel. Yes I do."

"Lindsey and I had a daughter."

"You what now?"

"I was still a wreck. Lindsey didn't know what to do. Everything was falling apart. So we gave her up for adoption."

"You had a baby. And didn't tell anyone." Stevie nods, giving her a minute to process. "There is Buckingham Nicks offspring in the world."

"Yes. Her name is Emmeline. She's 19 now. Lindsey found her. We met her this week."

"Holy shit."

"It's been... emotional. But it was great. She's perfect."

"Jesus, Stevie. You think this is going to stay quiet?"

"We decided to tell you guys. We just haven't gotten around to it yet, I guess. But that's why things are weird. A lot of baggage."

"And Lindsey?"

"What about him?"

"How's he with all of this?"

"He adores her, obviously. Kristen was less than thrilled."

"Where does she live?"

Stevie starts to gush about Emmeline and talks for the rest of the meal, excited to have someone to share her news with. She pulls up her photos on her camera, filling her in on everything.

Christine expresses her congratulations and lets her friend share her happiness, each of them putting away a bottle of wine throughout the course of the night. Christine could apparently still put away some wine, and Stevie realized too late that she shouldn't try to keep up.

"I think Lindsey is letting the reunion get to him," she muses, realizing she should explain. "He says in love with me," she blurts out, the wine rendering her completely incapable of holding her tongue.

"He what?"

"He kissed me. But then I made him leave. But... everything is so emotional right now. It's so confusing."

"He kissed you?" Stevie nods, holding up two fingers. "Twice?"

"That's all that happened, though. But I think maybe I love him," she says tentatively.

"Of course you do. Maybe having a kid will help you get your heads out of your asses."

"What? You think we should..."
