Ryan's POV
When Michael called me to come over to the diner to hang out with him and Scotty I told him "yes".
Once I was at the diner, I found Michael and Scotty at the booth. After I sat down I asked,"So, what we talking 'bout?" Michael was the first to respond, "Oh nothin."2 hours later
After we were done at the diner I asked Scotty if he want to head to the movies for the day I promised him the last time we were together. Michael gave Scotty a look of disgust, disappointment, and sorrow. What really stood out was the sadness in his eyes. Once I saw the sadness in his eyes I had to tell myself, after I go to the movies, tomorrow then.
1 day later
This is the day that I tell Michael about over hearing him about me. So I ask Michael if he want to go out to lunch at KFC. Michael being Michael said yes.
Once we ordered and sat down I began to talk. "Ok, this is going to sound weird and all but just listen ok," I began to talk to Michael. So then I started, "One day you invited Scotty over when I was in the shower and I over heard you and him talking. All you told him is that you call dibs on me and that he can not hang out with me unless you are there. All those days Scotty and I where hanging out, I asked him to hang out with me. So let's just say I have known about this for three weeks now, sorry I just want you to learn a lesson not to called dibs on a girl when she is a room away." He just looked at me with shock about how much I knew. After he was done staring at me he began to talk, "Ok the reason I called dibs on you was because I really like you its just that I don't want to run away once I get the courage to tell you about my past." Now it was my turn to look him with a shocked expression. "What just because I am a bad boy does not mean that I am not scared of some things and losing someone important to me," he finally broke the silence.
