Chapter 1: Abuse

Nyokohoshi's Point Of View....

It was time for me to head back home with Nagisa. We managed to learn some more things but we are still far from assassinating Koro-Sensei. My name is Nyokohoshi Shiota and I am Nagisa's older twin sister. I am already sixteen just like him and go to his school. I already actually graduated early and just go to Kunigigaoka Junior High School, just to be with him. We have to try and manage to kill Koro-Sensei, an Octopus, that destroyed half of the moon. Our Mom, Hiromi, is a monster to me. I hate her but she is still my Mom. She tries to force Nagisa to be a girl when he isn't one. So, I took it upon myself to protect him at all costs. Mom, never knew that I already graduated early and I don't want her to know. I wanted to be like a normal kid, not a prodigy, I wanted to stay at school a little longer, to be with Nagi. Nagi, is Nagisa's nickname that I gave him as kids. "Do you think Mom, will be mad?" Nagi asked me as he looked at me in worry. "I don't know. She's been in a foul mood lately but don't worry, I will always be here to protect you." I said as I held his hand in reassurance. "I promise." I said as I looked at him with a smile. "I know but I just don't get it. Why does she not accept me as a boy? What did I do wrong?" He said as he asked me. I could tell that he was tired of all of this and pained. "You did nothing wrong at all. You don't deserve this treatment either but even I don't know why she can't accept it." I said with a frown. "Thank you for that, Nyo-Nee." Nagi said to me with a small smile. It wasn't the big but it was something at least. "If she does anything, I will stop her at all costs." I said to him as we started to walk home. 'I will always protect him. That is my job as a big sister. I can at least spare him the pain of her hits.' I thought to myself with determination. Our Mom, was hard especially on me, because I would purposely get low scores to divert her attention from Nagi. That was enough for me as long as her attention is lead astray. "We're here." Nagi said as he brought me out of my thoughts. I squeezed his hand to let him know and reassure him that I was here. He nodded and we both walked in. The atmosphere was tense as Mom, looked at us. "Welcome back home, my daughters." Mom said to us with a smile. "Hello." I said to her with a curt nod. "Nagisa, I picked out some lovely dresses for you and your sister. Aren't they lovely?" She said as she asked us. "Mom, I'm not a girl though. I'm a boy." Nagi said to her. We both could sense the danger about what we did. "YOU UNGRATEFUL DAUGHTER! HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT? YOU ARE A GIRL NOT A BOY!" She yelled as she started to angrily stomp to us. "NO, HE'S NOT. NAGISA, IS A BOY! ITS ALREADY BAD ENOUGH THAT YOU NAMED HIM AFTER A GIRL! GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEAD!" I shouted back at her in anger. "HOW DARE YOU! I WILL MAKE YOU BOTH PAY!" She yelled as she got out a whip. We both looked at her, Nagisa was shaking in fear but I stood in front of him. "Dial the Police." I whispered to him. "YOU BOTH WILL GET IT! I SPENT MY TIME RAISING YOU AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME!" She yelled out as she sent the whip at us. I blocked Nagisa from it as it hit my back. I screamed out in pain as I felt the burning sensation on my back. Nagisa got hit on his hand though. She walked towards me and pulled my hair and threw me into the bookcase. "NAGI!" I shouted out in worry as I willed myself to move. She started to punch him in his gut. I got angry as she started to hit him. Without any hesitation, I ran to her and punched her away from him. She directed her anger on me as she hit me. Nagi already dialed the police, I could tell. No doubt that they were going to be sending squads out now. She kicked me in my guts as I flew to the wall. "I WILL SHOW YOU BOTH HOW TO BEHAVE! YOU WILL RESPECT ME AND MY WISHES! AFTER EVERYTHING I SACRIFICED, THIS IS THE LEAST YOU BOTH COULD DO!" She yelled out. She started to go to Nagi and reached for a knife. My body was in so much pain and agony. 'I have to move.' I thought as I tried to get up. 'GET UP!' I yelled out to myself in my head. I started to shakily get up and moved to Nagi. I had to protect him. He was already in bad shape and even had a cut on his face as well. Luckily, it was a small and minor one. It wasn't deep but I needed to protect him. I could feel her try to peel me away from him but I knew what would happen. I started to cling and shield him as much as I could. "POLICE, OPEN UP!" We heard knocking at the door. I felt relieved that they were finally here. Since no one answered it, they kicked down the door and pointed their guns to get. "You are under arrest for child abuse, assault and attempted murder." The Police said as they started to put cuffs on her. They called an ambulance for us and started to ask questions. I was the one that did the talking because Nagisa was passed out. "Do you have anyone that I can call for you two, to stay with?" An Officer asked me. "There is only one." I said to them. I started to give out the number. I was hoping that he didn't mind it. I also didn't want to burden him with my problems as well.
