Chapter 7: Inter-High Tournament

Tetsuya's Point Of View....

It was time for the Inter-High Tournament. I was excited about it because Hoshi and Nagi would be cheering for me as well. That was all I really cared and focused on. Since it was morning, Hoshi made sure for all of us to wake up early. She didn't want me to be late or running out of breath. She already knew that if I was late then I would make a run for it. It was just two more years until our Wedding Day. I was hoping that I would be on good terms with the Generations Of Miracles so I could invite them as well. I wanted all of my friends to be there. I know that Hoshi would invite her classmates as well. They all seem so close to each other. Although, I sometimes worry that I may not be good enough for her. Even though this was an arranged Marriage, our feelings were mutual and that was all that mattered to us. I was glad that she chose me and that I chose her. "Tetsu, you okay?" I heard Hoshi ask me. I snapped out of my trance and looked towards her. "Yeah, I was just thinking how lucky and thankful I am to have you with me as well as a Brother In Law like Nagi." I said to her with a smile. There was no need to lie to her not that I ever have. She didn't lie to me so I wouldn't lie to her. If either of us asked something from or of each other, we would answer it truthfully. "I am as well to have someone like you." She said in reply. "Yeah, I can't imagine her with anyone else." Nagi said in agreement. I couldn't help but smile at them. They really were the only ones that I could show all my emotions to. "We should hurry so we won't be late." She said to us. "Well, we still have about two hours until then." Nagi said to us. "We can just relax and eat our breakfast." She said to us. It was Mirin seasoned Salmon and rice with Miso Soup and Daikon. Her cooking never ceases to amaze us. It was always a delicious surprise for us from her. She could easily become a Chef if she didn't have to run her Family's Company. I still have no clue about what Nagi wants to be a when he grew I was up though. "Nagi, what do you want to be be when you grow up?" I can asked him in curiosity. "I still don't know yet. I'm trying to figure it out." He said to be with a small frown. "Hey, just take your time. It will come to you before you know it, just give it some time and think." She said to him. She always had the perfect advice to give someone. "She's right, you just have to try things out. Opportunities will show up soon." I said as I agreed with her. He just need some experience and then he should be able to choose. "But, what about the Shiota Company?" He asked us. I knew that he was concerned about that. They had a huge amount of Companies to manage. They were even superior with Akashi in terms of wealth. "I can manage all of that, you should go ahead and go what you want to do." She said to him. "But it would be hard to manage it by yourself and what would our Grandparents say as well?" Nagi said as he asked us. "I won't be by myself because I have Tetsu with me. Besides, Grandma and Grandpa would be more than happy if you chose something for yourself. It's up to you after all." She said to him as she held my hand. She always knew what to say and how to word it. "But, don't you want to choose as well?" He asked her. "Actually, I always dreamt of taking over the Family Company. So, it doesn't really matter that much since I am going to soon." She said with a shrug. "I have to agree with her. Other than my hobby, I always wanted to take over my Family's Company as well." I said to him as I looked at him. "We'll both have each other to help us out anyways." I said to him as I continued. "I'll wash the dishes while you two get ready." She said yo us. "I'll help you so we get it done faster." I said to her. "Okay, that's fine. Nagi, you know the way to your Room, right?" She said as she asked him. "Of course I do." He said with a pout. We all let out a small laugh as we watched him leave. "What about your guys' School?" I asked her. "Nagi's School has a holiday actually so they're off for the entire week." She said to me. "What about you?" I asked her. "I don't think I told you but I graduated from School as well as some Colleges at twelve. I don't need to go anymore. I just only went with Nagi for Moral support and to protect him from Mom." She said to me. My eyes widened in surprise as she said that. "Didn't your Mom know that?" I asked her. "No, she was too focused about dressing us in girly things. I think that's why our Grandparents, didn't pass it down to her." She said as she thought about. As she washed the dishes, I began to dry it and put it away in the cabinets. "I see." I said as I placed the dishes away. Are you going to go back with him?" I asked her. "No, I just go visit every now and then. I want to at least decorate this place. I also need to go over some files from the Company." She said to me. "They're already letting you take over?" I asked her in surprise. "Yeah, since I already graduated and everything. They also plan on seeing if I can handle it. So far, everything is good so they already handed it to me. They are officially planning on retiring once Winter Cup ends." She said to me. "After the announcement is made, right?" I said as I asked her. She nodded her head in confirmation. "We should go and get ready now." She said to me. 'She's really something else. I am glad that I got to end up with someone like her.' I thought to myself. She would always pay attention to everyone around her. She had a kind heart and understanding. As we both walked towards our room, she went to the closet to get our clothes. "Go and take a shower, I'll put your clothes by the sink." She said to me. I nodded my head and did as she asked. As I entered the shower, I took of my clothes and entered the shower. I liked to use cold water to wake myself up. This was the perfect thing for me to do since today was going to be a big day for all of us. "Tetsu, your clothes are going to be over here." I heard Hoshi say to me through the door. "Okay, thank you." I said as I thanked her. "No problem." She said to me. I could just imagine her saying that with a smile like she always does. 'She never changes and I am thankful for that.' I thought to myself with a smile. As the water hit my face, I let out a content sigh. I was now fully awake and ready for our Matches today. I know that I'd have to save my strength.
