Chapter 6: Challenge

Karma's Point Of View....

Nagisa was currently trying to cover himself as a blush adorned his face. He honesty did react a lot like a girl would but I'm not complaining. He was adorable and cute basically the whole package wrapped in one in a male body that is. "Nagisa, you really are making it hard to convince them that you are a guy." I said to him with a laugh. "WELL, I'M SORRY THAT I DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH BEING STRIPPED IN FRONT OF MY SENPAIS, TO PROVE A POINT!" Nagisa said as he shouted at me. "Well, you still have your pants and trousers on." Kuroko-Senpai said as he looked at him. He had a small smile on his deadpanned face. "TETSU-NII, NOT HELPING!" Nagisa shouted at him in embarrassment. I had to admit, he almost looked like Nagisa but had darker eyes than his light blue ones. He was also hard to notice as well. "See, he agrees with me." I said with a smile. "By the way Riko, what did you mean about their stats?" A man with glasses asked the girl. "Both of their own status, are off the charts even for someone their age." She said as she pointed at us and looked us up and down. Nagisa quickly put on a shirt. "Oh yeah. You forgot this at Home. You were in such a rush that you forgot this." Nagisa said as he handed Kuroko-Senpai his lunch. "I see. I guess I was in a bit of a rush." He said with a small sigh. "That's exactly why you should always double check." Nagisa said to him with a sigh. "But even when you double check, you still get lost." Kuroko-Senpai countered him. 'I have to admit he does get lost a lot but that's what also makes him adorable.' I thought as I looked at Nagisa. "It's not my fault." Nagisa said as he turned and pouted. "Anyways, we came here to check out the Basketball Club." Nagisa said to them as he bowed to them on respect. "How about a Friendly Match?" A guy who resembled a cat suggested to us. "That could be fun. Choose two of your best and then have them play against me and Nagisa." I said to them with a smirk. I don't get cocky but this was going to be fun. I wanted a challenge and this would be fun as well. "Kagami, Kuroko, you two are up." Riko-Senpai said to us. "No offense but can you at least introduce yourselves. It's kind of confusing to talk to you without knowing your names." Nagisa said as he gave a nervous smile. They all nodded and started to introduce themselves. "Just call us Karma and Nagisa. No need to be formal with us." I said to them as I started to spin the ball on my index finger. They all nodded as we started to get into our positions. "Do you guys need to change?" Riko-Senpai asked us. "Nah, we can just take off our uniforms and use our inside shirts." I said to her as I started to take off my uniform and Nagisa did the same. I never got to see him or Nyoko play. I know that they used to play as children but we never got to really see them play though. "Karma, I'll do the tip off." Nagisa said to me as he looked at me. "Alright then, I'll leave you to handle that. You better get the ball." I said to him as I agreed. "Don't worry about that but don't underestimate them either." He said to me with a nod. He took a hair tie out and started to tie his hair so it doesn't get on the way. 'I wonder what he will do against someone so big like him.' I thought as I took a glance at Kagami-Senpai. He was tall, huge in fact if you put Nagisa by him. Although he did have funny eyebrows, he also reminded me a bit of Terasaka as well. I started to wonder if they were related by chance but shrugged it to the back of my mind. "I'll be the referee." Riko-Senpai said as she approached us. We all nodded and started to get into position. I could tell that they were confused since Nagisa was going to do the tip off and I am taller than him. "Are you ready?" She asked all of us and she nodded. "Will he be alright? I mean, he is rather short." Kagami-Senpai said as he asked. He started to look down at Nagisa as he observed the height difference. "Be careful, Kagami. You shouldn't underestimate your opponents especially him." Kuroko-Senpai said to him as he looked at Nagisa. He nodded in reluctance as the game began to start. As soon as the ball went up, they both jumped up but something surprising happened that left all of us in shock except for Kuroko-Senpai. Nagisa actually got the ball first and started to dribble the ball. 'I never would've thought that he would be able to get the ball against someone of that stature.' I thought as I looked at Nagisa with wide eyes. Before we knew it, he shot a three pointer and made it in. "NO WAY!" "HE GOT THE BALL BEFORE KAGAMI!" "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!" "AMAZING!" "I NEVER EXPECTED THAT FROM SOMEONE HIS SIZE!" All of the others started to shout out on awe and bewilderment. "Great job, Nagisa. I never knew you were that good at this." I said as I high fived him. He nodded and let out a breath. "You are the same as expected." Kuroko-Senpai said with a small smile. "Yep, Nyo-Nee would always play when we could but she's still beyond better than me." Nagisa said as he laughed and rubbed the back of his neck, nervously. I was never expecting this but this was great. It would be awesome to see how many points we can make against them. I wonder what kind of point gap it would be. They are big and are also actual players as well. It would be challenging to beat them with a big score gap. I wonder if we could do it but with Nagisa, I think that we actually can.
