Narrator's POV

"Welcome, Y/N Y/L/N. We're so glad to have you here today," the interviewer said from his seat behind the desk. Immediately a loud round of cheers was heard from the audience, the novelist turned to them and gave them an awkward wave.

The host of this show's voice pulled her attention right back at him. "So the film adaption to your very own novel is premiering tonight! That must be exciting, isn't it?"

"Yeah, it's absolutely crazy, and I can't believe that it's actually happening. It feels like the time has just flown by," Y/N said with a small chuckle.

It's been about a half year since her epic breakup with Camila happened and since the hottest couple in the music industry is born. In the meanwhile, the post-production of her movie finally finished up and so was Camila's long-anticipated album. And it'll just be her luck for both of the projects to be premiering in the same week.

"So, your ex Camila Cabello just released her brand new album a couple of days ago. Any thoughts on it?"

Y/N had to stop herself from laughing out loud. Why is she not surprised at all that these people are still more concerned about her relationship with Camila than her own movie?

The novelist sat up straighter and raised her eyebrows. "I guess I feel kinda flattered to have someone write so many songs about me."

That certainly picked up the host's interest. "Which songs were about you though?"

Y/N couldn't help the smirk making its way onto her lips, she had to chuckle out loud to mask it. "Well, I was just assuming. You should definitely ask Camila about it next time she comes on this show because I'm curious too."

To no surprise, that earned some boo's from the audience, they were so ready for some tea, Goddamnit. The novelist just gave them a shrug with a tight-lipped smile. "Your guess is as good as mine."

The rest of the interview remained around the topic of her ex, but what's new.

-

Remember how Y/N said she didn't want to mix business with her friendship with Dinah. Well... she kinda had to change her plans on that because she had absolutely no idea what she was doing, so she could really use Dinah's help. And now the Polynesian would accompany her to everywhere she goes to.

Including this premiere of the film adaption of her novel, and every interview she had this morning.

Currently, they were heading to the movie theatre and Y/N was shaking because of her nerves. The spotlight wouldn't even be on her, but that doesn't stop her from freaking the fuck out innerly. But I mean... the last time she was surrounded by flashlights, she ended up having a whole ass panic attack, so you can't really blame her.

And with Camila's album releasing just a couple of days prior and how some of the songs kinda screamed her name... in a bad way, she has a not so good feeling about being in the middle of a bunch of paparazzi again.

"Are you okay?" Dinah asked concerned.

Y/N forced out a smile and gave her a curt nod. She was not okay at all, but that's fine. She'll be fine. What's the worse that can happen? It's nothing she's never experienced before. She continued to give herself the much-needed pep talk before the cab rolled up to the movie theatre.

"Okay, fuck," the Y/E/C-eyed girl muttered out. If she's not mistaken, there is a bunch of fangirls standing by the entrance. She'd love to think they are here to support the movie or whatever, but they certainly didn't look too friendly. On the contrary, they looked like they were searching for someone, and chances are high she's that person.
