> It appears as though you've finished Part One <
This is the end of "Immortal Awakening", and if you so desire to continue on Maxine's quest to return home and encounter the secret behind immortality, (APRIL 2016 ME) The second part hasn't been posted, and probably never will--but the good news is that I've begun creating an entire series that follows the after effects of Maxine's story here in the PREQUEL Avarice of the Sea. Since you've finished this book, you'll have a good amount of background and you'll get to see all the foreshadowing before anything even happens in the NEW SERIES: THE IMMORTAL CHRONICLES. > Here's the synopsis of what would have been Eternal Princess: <
Maxine has suffered, but she is no longer ignorant towards the cruelty of Captain Avarice and the connections he has. Her time on Avarice of the Sea was fun while it lasted, or at least, as much fun as it could be, but there's more to pirates than just a ship and looting gold. In fact, Avarice and his crew don't plan on leaving the Outer Planes for a long while.
Mingling with native royalty wasn't what Maxine had in mind when it came to encountering foreign people, and she definitely didn't expect to find the chief to be Avarice's youngest brother, "Magister" Paris. Among other things she doesn't realize about herself and Avarice's past, she becomes acutely aware to the fact that Conroy is done waiting, and Cody has problems of his own to conquer. As if that isn't enough, Mhyra's death haunts Maxine to no end, especially after the fact that Mhyra's life is literally in Maxine's hands.
Cross between family drama, pirate romance, and the art of charming and fighting, Maxine sets her standards high: she wants to go home, and she's taking Cody with her if it's the last thing she does. Besides, she has all of eternity to do so.
