"You don't have to go you know." Alissa said to her mom.

"I know, but he needs the support. Definitely from family!" her mom said while helping Matthew put his jacket on."Oh is Niall going to need a ride? We can pick him up if he needs us to."

"Niall is walking over here and going with us. He should be here soon." Alissa replied.

"Great!" It was nice how Alissa's dad's side of the family supported her mother even though he left. They helped her through it all.

Alissa's phone started ringing, "Hello?"

"Hey Alissa!" Zayn's voice said.

Alissa walked into another room,"What's up?"

"Nothing much just getting ready for tonight!"

"What's tonight?" Alissa asked totally clueless. There was silence. Alissa thought about it for a while, then it suddenly came to her,"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry! I totally forgot! And made plans too. I feel so so so awful."

There was more silence,"It's ok Alissa it happens." You hear the hurt he was trying to hold back.

"If it makes it any better you can come with me."

"Where are you going?" Zayn asked.

"Harry got this gig with his band and me, Niall, and my family are going to go watch him."

"Harry's gig and Niall is going to be there? Umm we can just hang out some other time maybe, you know if I remember." the words struck Alissa's heart. "Alissa I'm sorry I didn't mean it. It has just been a difficult day. See you this weekend maybe?"

"Yeah..." the door bell rang,"Well Niall is here I have to go." Before he could say anything Alissa hung up.

Alissa walked into the living room with a forced smile on her face. Niall was sitting on the couch next to Matthew. "Are you ready yet?" Matthew complained.

"Yes I'm ready." I laughed.

"Well lets go!" Alissa's mom said. We all walked outside and to the car.

"Oh I forgot my jacket!" Alissa said.

"Alissa we are going to be wate!" Matthew said back.

"Here you can wear mine." Niall said taking his jacket off. He handed it to Alissa.

"Thanks but aren't you going to get cold?"

"I will be fine." Niall smile his innocent smile.

"Thanks." she put it on and then they got into the car and were off.

Zayn's POV

"Where's Alissa?" Liam said as Zayn walked into Liam's living room.

"She made other plans..." Zayn said looking down.

"Aww I'm sorry Zayn. I was really looking forward to meeting her." said Danielle.

"Yeah, I'm not all that upset that she forgot. I mean I was, but then she invited me to go with her, her family, and... Niall... To see Harry perform."

"Oh Harry was telling me about that, the gig. Why should it matter that Niall is there? Didn't you say her and Niall are just friends?" Liam asked.

"Yeah that is what Alissa told me, but does Niall really think that? I asked him this morning if he liked, has feelings for, Alissa. The bell rang before he could answer and he left without answering. I just know he does, and he may love her more then me."

"Zayn, Liam has told you before. You have her now, he had his chance, but he didn't do anything and you did. What has that boy done that could be better then what you have done. You almost died for this girl the first day you two officially met. Which by the way was the stupidest thing you could have done." Danielle said.
