Daisy wasn't expecting what happened next, she was forced into a uniform and thrown around a bunch of children that watched her kill a bear! "David are you sure I'm ready to take care of children after I killed a bear in front of their faces?" She looked at her twin with fear and concern as she stood in the corner.
David smiled at her "of course! They may have a bit of trauma but nothing they probably haven't seen" he smiled while Daisy groaned "look you'll do great all we're doing is watching over the camp since it's a free day today. So take it easy alright?"
She nodded before standing straight up with an intimidating stance "how's my firm?" Daisy looked at her brother
"Maybe not so intimidating more...relaxed?" David smiled awkwardly while Daisy readjusted herself and David held a thumbs up
David looked towards the kids and began announcing the day's activities while Daisy was thinking of who she would basically be in charge of. Gwen bursted through the door hair in the middle of being put up in a ponytail "welcome to this shit-hole girl David I'm Gwen"
Daisy smiled "it's daisy nice to meet you! And uh what?" She tilted her head slightly while a knife sped past her face hitting the wooden wall next to her
Gwen jumped back while Daisy wasn't phased "what the hell?!" Gwen looked for the kid who threw that and low behold it was Nurf as always "Nurf put the damn knife down!" She trudged off and daisy pulled the knife from the wall and just played with it. Watching over each and every kid.
"Magic...magic...theater...art...science...adventure...sports...space...behavioral correction..." she named each one off as if they were pictures she paused when she looked at Max not knowing what camp they were in so she continued on soon enough she named all of them and sighed.
Later
Daisy found herself in the activities field standing next to David "so we just watch each of them?" She looked at her red head twin
"Yup! And nothing more! We stop them if they're doing something inappropriate or against the rules and help them if they need or have gotten hurt!" David smiles while Daisy heaved a heavy sigh watching over the campers as she's supposed to.
Even later (oh geez that's one too many)
She wandered over to the stage and sat in the audience watching as Preston yelled at each and every camper to hurry up so the show can start.
Daisy watched the show taking in every scene, truth be told she's loved the idea of becoming an actress but it always slipped her mind. After the performance, she told Preston about how much she enjoyed it even if they kept messing up and changing lines. "Finally! Someone who appreciates the arts as much as I!" Preston smiled while Daisy looked up at her brother who was scolding max for cussing.
He gave her a thumbs up before continuing on with his conversation with max. Daisy smiled as the kid grabbed her hand and gently started pulling her to walk with him. He rambled on and on about theater and why it's so under appreciated.
After that train wreck she noticed a kid sitting in a box while saying beep, boop, bop while pressing the "buttons" she walked up to him and looked at the cardboard spaceship "did you make this?" She asked and the kid shook his head.
"It was here when camp started. It seemed cool so I just started using it as a space ship." She nodded slowly as he answered
"I like space too!" She smiled and sat by the space ship while the kid scooted forwards as if we would get anywhere.
He looked at Daisy with a straight face, "can you fly?" He asked innocently while Daisy just stared.
Not even 2 seconds later
"Weeeeee!" Yelled the little one in the air as Daisy ran around with him, arms up, and the child in her hands.
David noticed this and smiled wiping a tear from his eye proudly. He then noticed the two magic kids fighting "n-Nerris Harrison please!" He ran over.
Late that night
Daisy sat by the camp fire her face lit up thanks to the heated light that is the fire. She held her hands out towards it and listened to the chit chat of her fellow counselors and the campers. She was still in the trance that nothing has changed but...soon enough realization will hit. Right? "Hey uh Davey what's that song you made about camp again? The one you wouldn't shit up about?" She looked at him and tilted her head
Each child groaned and David gasped pulling a guitar out of nowhere. "The camp Campbell song! Oooooooh!" He then sprang out into song that Daisy enjoyed but everyone else didn't.
Gwen sighed "alright campers time for bed" they all slowly got up and headed to their tents.
"Hey Davey where will I be sleeping?" She asked her brother while walking next to him
"Well you'll be sleeping in the cabin!" He smiled "uh...sadly not on a bed but on a couch we have in there!" Daisy nodded as they went inside. She sat on the couch and leaned back. David turned the lights off and laid in his bed "good night Daisy!" Gwen walked in and went into the restroom got changed and came back laying down. "Night Gwen!"
Daisy stretched "night Davey night Gwen!" She earned a mumbled goodnight from Gwen and she turned over to fall asleep.
After tossing and turning she finally got tired of it and stood up walking outside, she placed her pillow on the soft grass and then laid down placing the blanket on top of herself. Yawning, she placed her arms behind her head and fell asleep nicely.
