She gave him a light touch on his head that made his hair golden
KL: I give you the power of mind...
She touches foreheads with the baby and we go into his mind and all you see are gold stars in the night sky. She brings him to the latern garden and the baby looks up in the sky
KL: Each Star has their unique way of glowing, Just like us. We are all unique in our own way, I want you to use these stars to give good to those who have done bad.
Y: ._.
The lady laughs
KL: You'll understand in the future
She smiles to him
8 years later
The Kimono lady walks into the lantern garden and sees Yudai floating in the air with his eyes closed, hesitating. The lady stares at him with a calm smile. He gently falls to the ground and raises his hand up in the air, like he was waiting for something to come into his hand.
KL: 1...
KL: 2...
He closes his eyes harder
KL: 3...
He opens them disappointed.
Y: Almost had it! It just doesn't like me!
KL: The stars never give hatred to one being
Y: But I did everything right, right?
KL: You know I wouldn't lie to you
He sighs
Y: What do I need to work on?
KL: Everything, everything you did wasn't right
Y: ._. *his face*
KL: You just simply want things to happen when you want it to, be patient
He closes his eyes again and takes a deep breath
Y: I'll get it this time
KL: It's dinner time, you can try again sooner or later
He pouts. She walks back into her home and he follows her slowly and far behind her. His house was beautiful, blank white walls with a gold border, no rooftop, just the beautiful night sky filled with stars. He walks past a room, filled with water but was was brightened up by these beautiful lights.
At the kitchen table
Yudai was trying to use his power to make the fork float
KL: If you try to focus too hard you'll get a headache
Y: I want to do my best to make things float so easily!
The fork stars floating a little bit and he smiles in joy, only for it to fall back down. He could hear a tiny chuckle from the Kimono lady which made him pout more.
KL: Patience Yudai, Wanting things done very fast can get you stressed out
Y: Yeah I know...
She turns around revealing her pregnant body
KL: Then how about we cancel your training and do hesitation methods?
Y: No I wanna train!
She chuckles and walks up next to him while having her fingers in his hair.
KL: Of course you do
He smiles and lays his head on her belly
Y: What are we gonna name baby sis?
KL: Something unforgettable, Namie
Y: ... Why?
KL: Why not? It's a unique and unforgettable name
Y: Unforgettably weird
She narrows her eyes at him.
KL: I think it's cute
She smiles.
5 years later
Yudai walks through the house cuddled up in a blanket, he walks to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. He starts walking back but stops at his little sister's room. He slowly opens the door and smiles once he sees Namie asleep in her bed. He tucks her in and caresses her head, staring at her with gentle eyes.
Y: You're so innocent, so sweet
He saw her hands, they were all dried up
Y: Yet you still struggle to keep yourself alive
He grabs some melted gold and rubs them on her hands. Doing that smoothed her hands again.
He sets the glass cup on the bedside table and leaves.
Y: Oh...
KL: You worry too much about her
He sighs deeply
Y: I just don't want to go through that experience again
KL: Neither do I,
She walks up to him and massages his shoulders
KL: but she'll learn from her mistakes
She walks with him back to his bedroom.
Flashback
Yudai walks out to the lantern garden and saw Namie who had her head under water,
Y: NAMIE!!
he ran through the water not caring about his clothes getting soaked. He picked her head up and held her face up to his, her face was all dried up and he could hear her dry voice.
Y: What were you doing??! You know that your skin isn't used to this water!!
He used one hand to have her head rest in his chest and the other to lift her up and take her inside.
End of flashback
Y: I just want her to be safe
He says as he starts to drift off to sleep.
The next day
He wakes up to a dark room, he walks out with his blanket covering him. The hallway wasn't neat at all, vases were broken, painting have fallen, wallpapers ripped off the wall. He runs down the hallway and into Namie's room, she wasn't there. He quickly runs into the kicthen, it looked just as worse as the hallway. He ran to all the bedrooms and every room in the house, they were all destroyed. The last place he wanted to check was the Lantern Garden, he regrets looking their last. He runs to the Kimono lady who had a big hole in her stomach, she was fading away.
Y: W-WHAT HAPPENED?!!
KL: They attacked us...
Y: Who??!!
KL: They spared you and took Namie, I told them to.
He stares at her with his eyes widened
Y: WHY?!! YOU JUST LET THEM TAKE NAMIE?!!
KL: I did that... so you can save her
He gasps
Y: M-Me..?
KL: Yes, Namie hasn't had her power evolved yet, you're the only one in this family that can stop them.
Y: I-I still don't know who THEY are-
They could hear loud banging noises
?: WHERE ARE YOU?!! WE NEED THE BOY TOO!!
She sits up
KL: Here
She sprinkles gold dust onto him
Y: wha...
KL: This will get rid of your memory of us, and will take you to a safe place
Y: N-No! I DONT WANNA FORGET YOU-
KL: It's the only way! I know you'll remember us and save Namie...
She rests his forehead on hers
KL: I believe in you Yudai...
They both close their eyes with tears streaming down his eyes and a single tear falling down her eye. He starts to turn into fireflies and dissolve away.
Y: Please..! You'll be ok right?!!!
KL: I'll be ok...
The all black creatures barge into the garden
?: GET HIM!!
They start running towards them, Tje kimono lady kissed his forehead before blowing him away.
2 years later
*alarm clock goes off*
He turns it off, it comes back on he hits the button this time, it comes on again and this time he throws it out the window. He doesn't hear it bang on anything so he lifts his head up. There was a knock at the window, it was his best friend Takeshi. He had the alarm clock in his hand.
TK: Come on get your lazy ass up we got places to be!
Y: It's only 7:30
TK: We need to be at school by 50
Y: ._.
He immediately gets up and gets dressed for school, Takeshi was riding his skateboard while Yudai bikes. Takeshi grabs them a quick breakfast sandwich and they walk to school with their bike and skateboard.
Y: I'll pay tomorrow
TK: You know this is my week
Y: I know, but you got me up before I was late. Not even my parents do that.
TK: Because I know how you wake up
He starts to mimic him.
TK: Oh no it's time to get off, lemme just rest my eyes for five minutes.
Y: I don't rest my eyes!
TK: I know because you're already back to sleep. That's why I will put on an alarm for every five minutes after 7:00
Y: Please don't!
TK: If you can wake up when it's 7:00 then I won't, but keep letting this happen and I'll put the alarm for every minute after 7:00.
Y: Whatever
He says as he takes a bite of his sandwich
*At School, they run to the classroom but as soon as they walk in the door the bell rings*
?: You both are late
Says their teacher Mr. Gui
TK: We made it here before the bell rang though!
MG: You aren't counted tardy when you are in here and seated
They stare at him blankly
MG: Detention
They both groan and take their seats
*later that day*
Takeshi and Yudai wait in front of the Janitor's closet.
TK: Who are we waiting for again?
Y: A friend of mines, he knows how to get in to anything
TK: I told you I can get into the closet
Y: But I told you can do it but can never not get caught.
A guy walks down the hallway, girls start whispering and fangirling over him. Once it shows his handsome face he actually looks very shy.
Y: Hey ya Genkei!
GK: Hi Yudai, you needed help with a door?
Y: Yes, but before I show you I want you to meet Takeshi
In Genkei's POV Takeshi actually looked very scary to him
GK: Nice t-to meet y-you
T: "you never told me you got a goody too shoes"
Yudai hits his chest hard
GK: H-huh..?
T: Nothing, can you open the closet?
GK: T-This one?
T: No my parents closet- YES THIS ONE!
Genkei shrieks
Y: TAKESHI! Yes it's this one
GK: W-Why??
TK: This old hag took my keychain because I called him Janitor Fatass
Yudai holds in his laughter and Genkei chuckles. Takeshi looked at him differently
GK: Sorry, it's just I can see why you said it accidentally
TK: Who said it was an accident, I meant that shit
Yudai was struggling to hold in his laughter, meanwhile Genkei stares at him blankly
TK: Just open the door
GK: But what if he comes out of nowhere! He's scary!
Y: Just do it quickly, we'll block you
Genkei sighs, he starts picking at the lock and got it open, he closes himself in the closet and looks for the keychain.
TK: "I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING IT"
Y: People are looking at us, we have tattletales in this hallway.
TK: "BUT YOU KNOW I DONT WANT HIM SEEING IT"
The janitor comes from around the corner,
Y: THE JANITOR IS COMING
They stand there and act natural.
J: The hell are y'all doing here?
TK: It's a hallway, we stand wherever
J: You dipshits
He unlocked the closet, Yudai and Takeshi look at each other nervously.
TK: We are so screwed
Y: Shh
The janitor comes back out and gives them both weird looks. They act like they don't see him, he walks away.
G: Is he gone?
Y: Yeah
Genkei opens the door
TK: How the hell did you hide from him?
G: When he entered I hid by the door, and when he left I hid in a giant tub.
He holds up a teddy bear keychain
G: this was the only keychain I found, it was kinda girl but it's just my opinion
Takeshi grabs the keychain and hides it in his pocket.
TK: Yes that's mine, don't show everyone!
G: Sorry
The break time bell rings
G: I gotta head to class, see you guys!
He runs down the hallway
?: NO RUNNING IN THE HALLS
He speeds walk.
*In class*
Yudai was taking his notes, while Takeshi was creating tiny paper people. A teacher walks in
?: I need Takeshi and Yudai
They both look up at the teacher then each other, they follow the teacher to the principal's office. There they saw Genkei, the principal, and the janitor.
P: take a seat boys
They all sit down.
J: A student told me you naught thieves went into my closet
TK: Who was it?
Y: Takeshi!
TK: I wanna know who's the snitch!
P: Listen.
J: I obviously knew it was you two because that keychain that I took from you is gone .
Y: But why am I in trouble?
J: You're the smart one, and y'all managed to do it without getting caught so you had to be with him during this.
Takeshi was angry
Y: But what about Genkei
J: That person told me he was the one who was in the closet, so I brought him to ask you guys if he was in on it.
Yudai looks at Genkei and shakes his head
Y: No he wasn't there
J: Oh really?
Takeshi and Genkei looked at Yudai in shock.
Y: No he wasn't
GK: You don't need to save me Yudai! I was the one who broke in for y'all
TK: YOU HELP MR. GOODY TOO SHOES BUT DONT BOTHER HELPING ME OUT?!!
J: It's your keychain
TK: SHUT UP JANITOR FATASS
Yudai and Genkei went all white, the janitor was ticked this time and his eyes were big and red
P: TAKESHI REN, I WILL BE SEEING YOU IN DETENTION!
TK: Already have it
P: You serious
TK: Me and Sato
P: Oh, well in that case, all three of you will have detention with Miss Watanabe
They all stare at him with big white eyes, Genkei shrieks then drops to his knees.
GK: PLEASE SIR ANYTHING BUT DETENTION!! THIS WILL GO ON MY PERMANENT RECORD AND MY DAD WOULD KILL ME!!!
P: Next time follow the rules
GK: I WILL DO ANYTHING BUT DETENTION, ANYTHING!! I WILL PICK GUM OFF THE BENCHES, I WILL CLEAN THE BOYS RESTROOMS! ALL OF THEM! I WILL MOW EVERY GRASS IN THE SCHOOL AREA PLEASE!!
J: Just take the detention lil boy, so I can see y'all suffer
The door closes and they all stand there staring at the wall in front of them. Genkei breaks out into tears again as they walk down the hallway, Takeshi was holding his ears closed while Yudai was trying to calm Genkei down.
Y: I'm sorry I got you into this mess, I'll try and ask the principal about letting you not get the detention on your record
GK: THERE'S NO WAY HE'LL BELIEVE YOU! I was the one who got into the closet anyways, so it's my fault
TK: Can y'all shut up with that, I know detention stinks, but it stinks even more with FCKING Watanabe.
GK: W-Who is that..?
They both look at him and go into Buddha mode
GK: ..?
Y: To be blessed by your Gods
TK: To never have meet Satan nor see it with your eyes.
GK:H-Huh..?
Both: Miss Watanabe is THE worst woman you'll ever meet.

They both look at him in shock then go into Buddha mode.

Genkei stands there with a scared look while they look at him with Buddha faces.
*DETENTION*
They all stare at the detention door, flames coming from inside and seen through the door.
Y: One step away from hell
He slowly opens the door
