"He snuck into your house?" Ashe yells, "At THREE IN THE MORNING?"

"Keep it down." I say smiling.

"Did he kiss you, oh my..."

"Shut up!" I say only half joking.

She gives me a disapproving look.

"We just talked... he said that he came cause he didn't have my number."

"He likes you! I ship it!" She grins.

"Maybe." I shrug, smirking.

"DO YOU LIKE HIM BACK?" She screams.

"I think so," I whisper to her.

"Awww!"

I grin even harder, as we turn the corner to get to our next class. Ashe said that since she's on the team I have a big chance of getting on but, I think I'm skilled enough to do it by myself.

"I can't wait for cheerleading tryo-" A red haired girl is talking to Austin and... she kissed him. OH MY GOSH.
"What the heck." Ashe turns me away, but she keeps looking, I can't bear to turn around anyways.

"Why?" I feel myself tearing up.

"He pushed her off, Kendra's always trying to get all the guys, I'm sure it meant nothing."

"Yeah..." She grabs me and takes me to the nearest bathroom.

"Hey, don't get upset! You'll always have hottie Thomas and... all the other guys are drooling over you, It'll be fine."

"I thought he was different."

"Don't think about him, you have cheerleading and you need to do your best if you wan't to make it, Austin's just a stupid boy, he's nothing, let's go."

I sniff, "Okay."

******

"Hey, where have you been? We had a free period." Austin asks running up to me.

"I was trying out for cheerleading." I say, anger laced in my voice but, he doesn't seem to notice.

"Did you make it?" He grins.

"Yup."

"That's great! Wanna go to a party with me after the game?"

"No, I'm busy."

"Oh, what are you doing?"

I smirk. "Me and Thomas are going to the movies then one of his friends' parties."

"Wait, my Thomas?" He stops right in his path.

"Yep, maybe you can go with Kendra though." I snap. He starts to talk, but I walk off.

******

"And you just walked off?" Ashe looks amused.

"Yep!"

"You go girl!"

"Ladies, get over here!" Coach Manley yells at us.

"We have a new addition to our team," She puts her arms around me, "Alexa! Welcome."

Then I spot Kendra, ugh. She walks over to me, "Are you any good?"

"I was team captain on my Florida team, I was on the highschool team when I was in middle school so I guess I'm okay." I shrug, smirking.

Her mouth drops open, then she slams her mouth shut, "Yeah, right. We'll see." She raises her eyebrows.

"Alexa is a skilled cheerleader. Can you show us some moves?" The coach asks.
