"Lucas, why are we taking the subway? Dad can drop us off." Massey asked her boyfriend.

"It's the best way to find our way around." Lucas smiled down at her.

"I love the house, it's so amazing. I know my Dad has gone all out, I never knew we were so well off. To me money is not important as family and I never asked for much, I'd seen what it could do to people."

"You're the kindest person I know, Massey." Lucas grinned.

"I love my room. I'm glad thunder and night are on their way here with start of the fall it's amazing. Here's our train to our new school but we feel bad we left Zay behind. He'll be fine so I wonder what school be like."

"Hey, Riley, you don't do lip gloss." A nearby blonde girl said to her friend.

"It's a new me! I'm reinventing myself to be new and cool." The first girl's friend, who must have been Riley, said.

"Huh, do you see him?" The first girl was not at all discreet in pointing at Lucas.

"I don't know, Maya he's taking to that—Maya!" Riley tried to stop her friend as she came over to the couple.

"Hi, I'm Maya, you're cute." Maya smirked.

"Excuse me, please do not flirt with my boyfriend." Massey glared.

"We were taking to--What you're dating him?" The look she gave Massey could kill "My friend likes him, she's sad, and that's not okay when she's so much better than—"

"Hey, don't threaten my girlfriend! Who do you think you are? Move away and leave us alone." Lucas growled.

"What was that about Lucas? Who's Riley?" Massey asked.

"Maya, are you okay?" They heard Riley ask.

"Yeah, just broke up." Maya shrugged.

"Want talk about it? What about that girl he was taking to?" Riley questioned her friend

"Who cares? She's no one, be like me don't think." Maya pushed Riley into Lucas lap.

Massey glares at the girl sitting on her boyfriend's lap "Pardon me, can you get of my boyfriend's lap, like, now?"

"Your boyfriend...." she blanks then turns back to subway boy "Hi, we were just talking about you, you met Maya."

"Excuse me, Miss, get off me, I'm with my girlfriend and this our stop, come on Massey" Lucas gently got the girl off of him "I think those girls think the world revolves around them, I hope we don't have them in our class." He muttered to Massey as they got off the subway.

"If we do we'll tell them we are dating, hold hands, walk in, and I'll kiss your cheek. Lucas..."

"I think I have a bad feeling about this. What if they try and break us apart?" Lucas asked worriedly.

"They won't." Massey assured him "Let them do what they do, keep evidence much as possible, okay? It won't be like our last school with Vic and Darla."

"Well this is it new world. We're in this together, Massey." Lucas wrapped his arm around his girlfriend.
