They entered their new class.

Mr. Mathews greeted them "Hello, new students?"

"Yes, sir, Massey Prescott." Massey nodded.

"Lucas, sir."

"Ah, yes, both of you take a seat, okay." Mr. Matthews pointed to two seats right next to each other.

"Maya subway boy... and her too." The girl, Riley, from the subway said loudly to her friend.

"Don't worry about her, Riley, she's a nobody." Maya scoffed.

Lucas glared daggers at Maya "Excuse me, what did you just call my girlfriend? She's not a nobody! She's-"

"Lucas, she's not worth it, let's find out seats, okay?" Massey tried to pull Lucas towards their seats.

"Is there a problem?" Mr. Matthews asked.

"Yes, sir," Lucas nodded "this girl called my girlfriend a nobody!"

"Girlfriend? Riley whimpered to herself .

"No, he misheard them, that's all." Massey lowered her voice "Lucas, please, sweetheart, it's fine."

"Oh, no, not again. No have someone, Maya Hart, wait outside I'll have a word with you. Lucas, Massey , take a seat." Mr. Matthews sighed "Okay, be right back." He led Maya outside "Maya I'm very disappointed in you right now. It's not nice to make someone feel worthless at all. She's new here, be more welcoming than that."

"But, sir, Riley likes that boy and that girl is his girlfriend..." Maya protested.

"Sorry, Maya, Riley needs to learn she does not get to have everything her way all the time. If I find out you or my daughter manipulate her in any way, becoming her friends then both saying mean things to her and Lucas, you'll be in trouble." Mr. Matthews warned.

"Yes, sir." Maya grumbled.

"Sit at the back today." Mr. Matthews told Maya as they came back in.

"Okay, yes."

Farkle turned to Massey "I'm very sorry about Maya, she can be overbearing at times, but welcome to New York."

"Wow, thanks..." Massey paused "Is your name really...?"

"Yes." Farkle nodded.

"Mine's Massey, this is my boyfriend Lucas." Massey introduced.

"Hey, thanks." Riley butted in "Yes, my name is Riley Mathews, hi..."

"We're not talking to you at the moment." Lucas frowned.

"That was rude, Lucas, relax." Riley tried to joke

"Okay, honey," Massey said "Lucas is my boyfriend, we are dating, sugar, and no I'm not going to break up with him just because your friend selfishly pushed you into his lap in the subway. Who raised you to be so disrespectful? Just please, stop, okay?"

Riley felt small tears begin to form and turned to the teacher "Daddy, this girl is mean... I don't want her here!"

"You're kidding me, really?" Massey shouted and slammed her head on the table, Lucas grabbed her and glared harshly at the teacher.

Lucas turned to Farkle "How is this right?"

"Welcome to our lives where it all revolves around her." Farkle sighed.

"Every lesson revolves around..."

"Yes, partly."

"Yeah, he forgets I'm in this class too." A boy held out his hand to Massey "Shane Hunter, welcome to Hell."

"Thanks, nice to meet you Shane Hunter, I'm Massey."

"Hey, Cousy, long time no see." Shane nodded to Lucas "Lucas, I'm glad you asked her out, man."

"Good to see you again, Mr Hunter." Mr. Matthews nodded.

"Yes, wait to my dad hears about this." A small smirk appeared on Shane's face "Not only has Maya bullied your best friend's goddaughter she's out told the class she wants Massey out the class but Lucas can stay, what are you going to do?"

"Shut up, brat! You have no proof!" Shouted Maya "I bet Shawn's not even your Dad!"

"Maya Hart! Office now!" Mr. Matthews ordered.

Maya got up and left, slamming the door.

"That's it, get out of here." Mr. Matthews groaned.

The class packed up and walked out, glaring at Riley and Mr. Mathews as they left.
