"COOL SCHMOOL! I DON'T WANT YOU TO TELL ME WHAT'S SO COOL."

a (h/c) teenage girl could be seen sprinting on the sidewalks of iwatobi town. that (h/c) girl's name was (y/n) (l/n). today was the teenager's first day as a second year at iwatobi high school. she transferred from her home town, due to her family's financial issues.

she woke up late, forgetting that she had a new school to attend to. this wasn't a good way to start off her day, especially since you it's her first day at a new school. not paying attention while running, she accidentally bumped into two male teenagers.

the female turned around, clasping her hands in a pleading motion ; "i'm terribly sorry!" she hoarsely whispered. she turned back around and continued to sprint her way to school.

"hey wait!—" one of the boy's yelled, trying to get the girl's attention, but the female was already a blur in the distance. the teenager frowned and looked at the other male beside him.

"wonder why she's in a hurry." he mumbled. the other male just kept quiet, as usual.

eventually (y/n) made it to iwatobi high.
while running in the halls trying to find her class she ran into a red haired female. they crashed into each-other, making them both fall down.

the (h/c) girl winced in pain at the contact.
'you've gotta be joking.' the voice in (y/n)'s head said.

"ack! i'm sorry i shouldn't be so wreckless!" the red haired girl said as she immediately got up and bowed down, showing that she was sorry. (y/n) tilted her head in confusion.

the voice in (y/n)'s head was wondering why she was apologizing. after all, it kind of her fault for both of
the girls to crash into each other. (y/n) shook her head, which made the other female confused aswell.

"eh? you shouldn't be apologizing, it's my fault for running in the halls!" the second year said as she got up and dusted herself off.

the red haired girl gave a small smile at the girl, and rubbed the back of her neck, "yeah, you really shouldn't be running in the halls." she snorted.

the (h/c) girl covered her face in embarrassment and apologized over fifty times. the other female laughed and shook her head. "no worries! by the way the name's gou matsuoka! i'm a third year here." she said confidently.

(f/n) uncovered her face and smiled at gou.
"i'm (y/n) (l/n). i just moved here in iwatobi! and i'm currently a second year!" (f/n) said cheerfully.

the red haired female clasped her hands together and swayed on her feet in a cheerful movement.
"you'll love it here (l/n)! say, when it's lunch time would you like to eat lunch with me on the roof?"
she asked still swaying on her feet.

"i'd love to! but uhm, where's the roof?" (y/n) asked, she was new to this school after all. gou stopped swaying and gasped, all most forgetting she's new.

"ah, i'll show you around once you get out of your first class, kay?" gou said holding out her pinky. the (h/c) girl nodded and wrapped her pinky finger around gou's, making a promise to meet eachother.

just then, the bell rang and everyone in the halls soon went away to their classes. (y/n) watched in amazement as the halls became empty. she felt the contact of gou's pinky leave her own. she turned and looked at gou who waved goodbye at the teenager.

"you don't want to be late do you?" gou said playfully. the other female shook her head and waved back at gou, heading to her first classroom, which she struggled to find.
