"Hey!!!!!! Oh, just give me one second, dude." I giggled. I ran to the kitchen and put on the party hat I had made five minutes earlier. I raced back over to the computer and laughed at my little picture on the screen. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Lucas, happy birthday to you!" I fell over laughing at the look on his face. He was so red I think that people stopped their cars in China! "Your the best Stell! And that party hat is adorable. I wish I could be there, in person celebrating! Oh, speaking of there, guess what!?" He said his voice full of excitement as if he could explode with anticipation if I didn't say what. "What?" I asked trying to match his tone. "Turn around!" He whispered. I heard the door creek open. I whipped around to see Lucas standing in the porch. I ran into his outstretched arms and started to cry. I didn't realize how much I really missed him. I was much smaller than him so my face was buried in his chest. He took me by the shoulders so he could pull me from him. "Now don't go and get sappy on me." He said with a grin so big it went from ear to ear. "Why are you here, how are you here, I missed you, how's Alberta, got any new girls I should know about, I missed you!" I wrapped my arms around him again and squeezed. He was built like a rock, tall, big, and all muscle. He played on the football team before he moved away and he hadn't changed much. "Slow down firecracker." He smiled. "I missed you too. Now as for your questions... I missed you, I took a plane, I missed you too, Alberta's great, nope no new girls, and again I missed you too." He laughed. I realized I was still hugging him and let go. I had to remember we were just friends now. "Where's Sue?" He asked. "Mum is at work, she'll be back in about an hour or so. Here, come sit, tell me about Alberta and how you got here and all that." I took him by the hand and dragged him into the living room. "Okay, but first, where's Drake?" He asked curiously. " I broke up with him about an hour ago." I say softly." Oh wow, I thought you guys were really hitting it off. Well to be honest, I kinda wanted to punch him is the face." He winked at me. The he leaned closer to me and squinted. "What's with the blue and purple mark?" He asked. "Oh, that. I was hit in the head with a football." I sighed." You should have caught it like I taught you to." He smiled. "Haha, funny!" I said sarcastically. We chatted until we could chat no more. It was just like old times, but something didn't seem quite right.
