(I know this lockdown/quarantine thing is frustrating and hard for everyone , stay safe and I hope this makes this slightly better)
Your P.O.V
1 week , new information on the news every night. Everyone's frustrated , angry , sad. Your surfing through the channels on your tv in your living room. Something to put on as background noise so that you can work on your laptop. Froy , your boyfriend is asleep upstairs, he is also off work , he's been writing songs recently , trying to kill time. You were happy that you can spend this lockdown with him since the two of you live together, you couldn't imagine you and froy being apart.
You open your laptop and you turn it on , it's resting on your lap, you can feel how cold it is on your legs , hoping that it heats up soon. You go into your emails and check what your manager has sent you. You work for a magazine company and they asked you to come up with a new design for the summer magazine , it's been stressful for you but the lockdown has given you time to brainstorm some ideas.
After an hour of planning and typing , you sigh, you love the job but sometimes it can get stressful. You feel a hand lightly squeezing your shoulder, you look up and froy is standing behind you , half awake , his hair is messy , just how you like it. "Good morning" you smile at him , he leans down and kisses your forehead, "good morning baby" he says in his morning voice , it's a little raspy , you smile , "do you want me to make you some breakfast?" You ask , " no that's ok , have you had any food?" He asks , he's sitting on the edge of the sofa , looking at you , " nope" you say , "I've been doing this since I woke up basically" you nod at your laptop " you work way too hard , put the laptop down for a few minutes, go get changed and I'll make breakfast" he tells you , you think about it and you sit your laptop on the coffee table "okay" you say , you get up and so does froy , you lean in to kiss him and he pulls his head back , you look at him with a puzzled expression "morning breath" he says , "froy , we've been living together for 2 years now and we've been together for 4, do you really think I care about your morning breath ? Come here and kiss me" you say and he smiles and kisses you , "mmmm much better" you smile and he turns around and makes his way to the kitchen and you go to your bedroom and get changed.
You walk into the kitchen wearing leggings and froy's hoodie. You see froy standing by the oven , cooking something. You walk over and you hug him from behind, he jumps slightly , you laugh slightly "scared ya" , "I don't know what you're talking about" he turns around and looks down at the hoodie , "is that my hoodie?" He asks and raises one eyebrow , "correction , our hoodie , yes it is" you smile "looks good on you" he gives you a small kiss on the lips and twirls round to the oven. "What are you making ?" You ask as you walk over to the fridge and grab a bottle of water (nothing better than cold water ;) ) , " pancakes" , "I haven't had them in ages" , "you had them 3 days ago" he says , "like I said ages" you laugh, he shakes his head whilst smiling.
After froy finishes making the pancakes , he hands you a plate , you go over to the dinning table and you sit down. You take a bite and it tastes amazing "wow these are delicious" you say as you take another bite "you say that every time I make pancakes" , "that's because they always are".
You finish breakfast and you grab the laptop again and start working. "Why are you working anyway? It's Saturday" he asks , "I just really want to get this done so I can start something new" you explain as you type some more "you've already worked on this this morning , why don't you give yourself some time off?" Froy puts his arm around you , you look at him "fine , you've convinced me but I'll work on this tomorrow" , " okay". You save your work and turn off your laptop and sit it on the table.
"So what do you wanna do then?" You ask , "how about we have a relaxing bubble bath and then we can cuddle and watch some Disney movies" , you smile "that sounds amazing". Froy gets up and walks upstairs, you can hear him turn on the water. You go upstairs and froy is standing in the doorway of the bathroom, "no , you wait in the bedroom and let me do this , you're supposed to relax after working this morning" you look at him , he's serious , "okay" you kiss his cheek and walk into the bedroom which is opposite of the bathroom. You smile when you think about froy and what's he's doing for you , you sit on your phone , waiting for your bath, listening to the water running and froy humming.
