Taehyung's Point Of View

"Hyung I don't know what to do." I paced back and forth as Jin read through her texts. "Is she saying she's going to kill herself or something? She can't die. Hyung please tell me something!"

"Sit down Taehyung." Jimin grabbed my arms and steered me to the couch, my feet stumbling to keep up. "Take a deep breath." I ran my hand through my hair and took deep breaths, my eyes wide as I tried to study Jin's face.

"Taehyung," Jin looked up from my phone, handing it back to me and I checked for a message from her. Nothing. "She's going through something right now." He paused and pressed his lips together. "But I assume you already know that. Just stay calm with her, okay? Don't demand answers, just give her reassurance." I took a deep breath and started to type away, but I was interrupted by a phone call.

From her.

"Theo! Theo I-" Her time flashed in my head. It's two am for her. She's never up this late.

"Tae-Taehyu-Tae I'm scared." Her voice shook as she barely whispered those words into the phone. My heart beat quickened even more, scaring me that it could go so fast. "M-my mom is...she's so angry-Mom!" Theo screamed and everyone's heads snapped to me, their eyes wide. I stumbled into my shared room, glass shattering echoing into the phone from her side. She kept screaming, her phone hitting something and I heard scuffling.

"Theo!" I cried out, tears streaming down my face as I just stood there. I couldn't do anything about this! Why aren't I there? "Theodora answer me!" She cried out of pain and there was the loudest glass shattering of them all.

Everything went quiet. All that I heard was the sound of a human hitting the floor.

I couldn't find a voice in me to speak.

Is this what she was talking about?

Did her mom just murder her?

"Mom?" Theo squeaked and I let out my breath, tears falling even faster. She's alive. My baby is alive!

"Theo oh my God you're alive." I gasped out, wiping away my tears quickly.

"Did I just kill her?" She sobbed and there was more scuffling until the call just ended.

I fell to my knees, covering my face with my hands as I cried, someone hugging me tightly, letting me shake in their arms.

Theo....

I held onto the nurse as they pushed as both through the hospial, both of us on the stretcher. I haven't stopped crying since they got to my house. I'm covered, drenched in blood. Mine and my mother's.

"I thought I was going to die!" I cried out, finally in a room now, the nurse rubbing my back as I cowered into her. "I was so scared."

"You're safe now. It's okay. We're here." She looked up from me and kissed my head. "I need to move now, but I won't leave your side, okay?"

"Okay." I took a shaky breath, but tears continued to flow.

"Where....rt?" Someone in a mask faced me towards them.

"I don't feel good." I shook my head and looked down at my hands. "I'm bleeding. My back, and my stomach, they're bleeding." And everything went black as I fell into the doctor's arms.

"She's alive." My hand covered my mouth. "Thank you. Thank you so much I'll pay you anything-"

"Taehyung we need-" Hoseok tried to get me up, but I wouldn't comply. I swatted his hand away and continued to bite my nails.

"When can I talk to her?" I laid back on my bed, letting out a sigh of relief. "I will call in five hours or so. Doctor, thank you."

"Hurry." Hoseok pulled me to my feet after I'd hung up. "We're almost late. You know how the managers hate us being late." I stood still as he tried to pull me. I could only smile.

"Theo's okay. She's going to be okay."

"She..uhm, she attacked me, but it wasn't anything knew. Even when she took out the knife, I...I wasn't surprised." I kept my eyes down as the men with the suits all stared at me, the nurse from before sitting beside me, rubbing my arm. "But, after she cut into me, it was like she meant to kill. So, I...I fought back. Because, I have someone to live for and I just...I wasn't ready to die."

"And how exactly did you fight back?"

"My little sister had picked flowers earlier and I put them in a vase, so I grabbed the vase and, hit my mom's head. Apparently she, she stabbed me on her way down, but it wasn't deep so I guess it's okay."

"No no, it wasn't okay." The nurse mumbled, pulling me closer to her. "No parent should ever hurt their kid."

"Other kids....they..they aren't hit? They aren't yelled and screamed at?" My voice was the only shaking one as I asked the question, not believing it. It's always been like that. I've always been slapped, kicked, yelled and screamed at. I thought that's what everyone went through.

"No, no Sweetie." The nurse was crying now. "Parents are supposed to love you, not be violent."

"Parents are nice?" My voice cracked as a tear fell down my face. "They...they love kids?"

"We have plenty of evidence." The men all stood up, one ending the recording. "Miss Bell, you will be safe now. We have your mother in custody and you will be under protection. You may rest."

"Parents love their kids?"
