Not very sure where I'm going with this book so I'm not doing a description , fuck with it or don't fuck with it lol , it's gone be lit I promise ☺️
Lani danced around her newly remodeled condo as she put Jaylani things where they belonged , she didn't go far out , she actually lived pretty close to her old home .
"Are you going to be good for your daddy?" Lani asked as she packed her bags
"Yes! I'm so happy " Jaylani cheesed hard
Although she spent a lot of time with her mother she was a daddy's girl , she clung to his side more than anybody around her.
Every since the break up they agreed to JayCee getting Jaylani every two weeks and keeping her for half a week but lately he's been "too busy " when it's his turn
Lani phone rung loudly from her bedroom as she walked out of Jaylani room. Looking at the call log she mentally rolled her eyes seeing JayCee contact appear a cross the screen .
"What do you want?" Lani asked
"I can't get her today, some shit came up" JayCee voice came through the phone
Lani pulled the phone back as she wrinkled up her face
"every week you get my baby hopes up and when it's time you always got something so fucking important to do" Lani yelled in the phone
"I-" before JayCee could get his words out Lani hung up the phone in his face
"Is daddy on him way?" Jaylani came into the room with her sandals on the wrong feet .
"He's not coming again , mommy so sorry" Lani picked her up as her lip quivered from the tears that was about to fall .
"He lie to me again" Jaylani huffed as she wiped her tears that fell
"I know baby, he's busy with work" Lani says
No matter the terms her and JayCee was on she always found ways to cover for him , she never wanted to paint a picture of him in Jaylani head that wasn't good .
"Is him coming tomorrow?" Jaylani asked her mom as she slid off her hip
"You want ice cream?" Lani asked trying to change the subject, she hated lying to her daughter so she preferred not to answer .
"No, I tired " Jaylani rubbed her eyes
Lani nodded as she layed Jaylani across her bed and pulled the cover over her.
Exiting the room she pulled out her purse and began rolling a blunt.
Weed was starting to become an every day thing for Lani, she loved the feeling when she high nothing mattered! Especially not her emotions , nor feelings she was numb.
Lately she was off of social media a lot , because they was nosey and she never needed anybody to know her business .
Finally she decided to post a picture of Jaylani and herself that they recently took
