2 weeks after ..

Lani sat on the bed as she kept her eyes on the clock, as bad as wanted to run to the hospital and find out what happened she couldn't seem to get her feet to leave her condo..

"You still sitting here, that man been in the hospital since last night" Nae stretched as she stood over Lani bed ..

"I'm not going, if I keep running to his rescue then he feel like he can string me along and treat me any kind of way" Lani rolled from under the cover .

"Girl either way he's still Jaylani father and you need to know he's ok" Nae shrugged

"Exactly he's Jaylani father and far as I'm concerned he's not dead"

Lani tossed the phone across the bed for Nae could see Paris post ..

"Who is she?" Nae asked as she scrolled down Paris page.

"I'm guessing his girlfriend?" Lani shrugged

"Why are you mad if he has a girlfriend? You wanted him to move on right?" Nae was confused

"Ye-well no, idk" Lani groaned

"We just had sex, if he had a girlfriend why would he let us get to that point?" Lani huffed

"Because niggas are dogs and long as you allow it he will continue to do it" Nae shook her head.

"I don't see why you keep having sex with him and he treat you the way he treat you?"

Lani rolled her eyes this was why she didn't want to tell Nae cause she knew she would have to hear her mouth about it..

"Girl, just stay out my business" Lani huffed walking into the bathroom .

"Whatever, if you chose to be a cum rag then that's on you"  Nae threw her hands up..

"I'm not anybody's fucking cum rag, you see I still haven't went to the hospital get out my face talking dumb the fuck " Lani was now mad .

Nae walked out the room, she wasn't in the mood to argue with Lani so to defuse the situation she was leaving her house .

Lani stood in the shower as she let the hot water relax her body.

She couldn't understand why she was so upset but this was the moment she thought back to her conversation with Leila and NOW she was truly wiping her hands with Jaycee ..

Lani shook away all her thoughts just as Leila words repeatedly rung in her head .

Finally she broke down, and she cried about everything leading all the way up until when Jaylani was shot .
