Right as he comes close
I fall
Somewhere unknown and far away
I cannot see him
I only see the darkness around me
And boom

I open my eyes
To see a void
Absolutely nothing
No color
No sound
No smell
Nothing
-
I scream
But I don't hear anything leave my mouth
My vocal cords aren't working
I touch my neck
In hopes I can feel the vibrations
Nothing
-
This is a dream
I tell myself
Stop freaking out
It's just a dream
This is not happening
-
I close my eyes
When I open them
I am in my room
The darkness from the night sky
Has leaked all over it
And I can breathe again
Just a bad dream
