Chapter 6 Blood

Frank's P.O.V.
The doctor told me that Gerard wasn't waking up... That it was normal for that to happen.
Oh well..... I just need to go home.
I got so excited for nothing... Oh well.

Band practice went well... It has been 2 weeks since Gerard was hit by a car. The guilt is almost too much to handle. I wish I wasn't such a jerk to him. I hate myself for it. I just want him to wake up.
I make my way back to the hospital. I walk in Gerard's room and I see him sitting up in bed. He looks at me and his smile fades. He looks down and whispers, "Hey Frank"
"Hey Gerard. How are you feeling?" I ask in awe. Before he can speak, I run up and give him a big hug.
"I'm so sorry. I am sorry for being a jerk to you. I'm sorry for making you feel worthless. I'm sorry for everything"I say as I hug him. He wraps his arms around me and starts crying.
"I forgive you. Thank you for apologising." He says, his voice full of tears.

I visited Gerard everyday. One day I even brought my key board.
"Okay Gee. Look. Let's make a song" I said as I set up the keyboard.
"Okie-Dokie" he said with a cheeky smile. He sat himself up, grunting from pain. I started playing playing notes in a steady beat. He started to sing along.
"Well they encourage your complete cooperation. Send 'ya roses when they think you need to smile" he sang. "I can't control myself because I don't know how and they love me for it, honestly I'll be here for a while." He paused as he looked for lyrics to sing next.
"So give them blood. Blood. Gallons of the stuff. Give them all that they can drink and it will never be enough. So give them blood. Blood blooood." I sang.
"Grab a glass because there's going to be a flood" he added as we ended the tune.
Mikey walked in. "Hey, that song wasn't to shabby for coming up with it at the moment" he chuckled.
Gerard turned bright red and giggled a 'thanks'. His laugh is so adorable. I wish I would have noticed how perfect he is. He's too cute, with his red hair that falls perfectly and the way he talks out of the side of his mouth or the way he smiles. I can't get over how perfect he is.
I want him to be mine.
