Roll of the Dice

3rd persons pov

"So, you decide to bully her again and again. For what reason. I don't think it's fair."

"W-who are you?" Tao Ishishima asks the strange mysterious voice.

"That's none of your concern," the voice pauses. "So, is it just by chance that you bully her. Or is there a reason. Maybe, perhaps, you rolled a dice?" The voice asks.

Then a small click, getting louder and less frequent, is heard across the dark gym room. Tao, a bully in Sai's class, is now shaking and is backed up against the wall. The dice comes into view.

"20..." The mysterious girl says, also coming into view. "That's a critical on a 20 sided die my friend. Time for a punishment game." It says.

"S-stay away from me! S-STAY AWAY!" He shouts.

"The door of darkness has opened." She says. The faint sound of food steps gets quieter and quieter until it's drowned out by the sound of a boy screaming. Screaming in fear, pain, and agony.

Saikoro's pov

I wake up with a start as my alarm clock wakes me up. "DANG IT!" I yell hitting myself in the head. "WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER AGAIN!" I scream at myself.

I use to cry every time I couldn't remember what happened to me, but that got old now I just get angry. That's also getting old. I just look like a little kid having a temper tantrum. Especially with my high pitched voice.

I sigh, turn off my alarm clock and take a shower. I don't wanna wake my dad up. Some times I am grateful for my memory lapses. At least I know I wasn't at home.

I wash my hair, face and body then get out of the shower. I sigh again as I brush my long hair. I put most of it into a low ponytail, not really caring what it looks like. I put on one of my favorite dresses and grab my stuff. I run out the door before my dads alarm clock goes off.

I make it to school in record time. I have gym first hour. I don't like gym cause I can't stay in the corner. I actually have to work with people too. I sit in my seat and stair at the ground as the teacher takes roll call.

I look over to my crush. He doesn't know it, but I do like him a lot. His hair is so cool and colorful and spiky. His purple eyes are so beautiful.

I look away just as he's about to see me staring. I wish I knew more about him. All I know is his first name. Yugi! It's so cute and perfect. I also know that he has an ancient Egyptian puzzle, like my dice. He's so perfect. He's short, but just taller then me.

After roll call the teacher pairs us up in groups of five. Me, Joey, Tea, and Honda... and Yugi! This is sure a lucky day

To bad we're playing basketball. I really hate basketball it's hard it play when you're short.

"It's okay, I'm not good at basketball either." Yugi says to me when he noticed how I looked. I blush.

"That's okay," I say and smile. "You don't have to make me feel better."

The rest of the school day goes by like usual. Me sitting in the corner of the classroom, never raising my hand and never getting noticed. So all in all, a pretty good day.

The bell rings signifying the end of the school day. I happily sigh and quickly stand up.

"Hey! Saikoro!" My crush yells from the other side of the classroom.

I know he drew attention to me. I look around and see people whispering. I know it's about me. I just know it! I grab my stuff and rush out of the school room, feeling a panic attack coming.

I run out of the school doors and nobody else is really outside. I sigh and start to walk to my favorite park. I calm down a bit but then I hear it.

"Saikoro!" He yells.

I quickly snap my head around to look at him. I start to hyperventilate. I need to calm down, before... before... Then it all goes black.
