tom Thompson

carter

I never knew transferring schools will be so weird and so inconvenient. every one is just staring and whispering. I walked to my locker and grabbed my books. its my second day at Northgate and every thing is not the way I expected it to be but hey, it could've been WORSE.

math class was boring but I'm headed for gym class. the locker room is full but I spot somone one I knew at the edge.

"hey" I said catching his attention

"hey, carter right"

"yh"

we walked to gym class together and after some activities we decided to sit and rest.

"so, she's not allowed to do sports or something" I asked spotting lily by a corner

"no, not really. she only swims."

"yh, and why is she walking towards us"

"because she is my best friend and bestfriends talk to each other. chill dude"

" hey" she said

" lily, carter ghalsek. carter, lily Anderson."

"hey" I said as we shook hands

" thanks for the other day"

"yh, no problem"

she walked away headed for the door and just disappeared

" well that was awkward" khaleel said trailing off my thoughts

" in what way"

"in an awkward way..."

we continued our gym class activities and gym and thank GOD that it was last period because they just rang the bell.  I was walking out of the locker room when this pale looking dude stopped me.

"um.. need any help" I asked him referring to his pale face.

"hi newbie. I'm tom Thompson " he said in a mean tone." and I'm guessing you are....."

" carter. carter ghalsek" I said reaching my arm towards him for a hand shake. but instead he said" ha! this dude wants a hand shake from me" he said rather loudly. and guys from the locker room started to gather.

"a hand shake isnt such a big deal. maybe you'll know that if you became  nicer" I said as khaleel came and pulled me away. i turned my back to walk away but i heard him yell

" WHAT KIND OF STUPID PARENT NAMES THEIR CHILD GHALSEK ANYWAYS"

no he didnt dare. i kind of hate it when people insult my surname like that so walked back to him and made sure our faces were only inches away and told him" ghalsek is korean for brown and you'll know that if you werent stupid not to" and i made sure i said it rather loud so that every guy around could hear.

khaleel grabbed my arm and pulled me away and told me that no on had ever stood up to tom Thompson like that.
