I and ummy are at her house sorting out her closet. she says her hijabs must not be mixed with the veils.
" I heard a knock on the door" ummy said peeking out of the closet. " I'll get it" I said about to run down the stairs but instead I decided to walk. I opened it and saw khaleel and a friend. he never really brought any friends home so I was surprised.
" can I come in my house now" khaleel asked snapping me out of my thoughts. you know. I think it should be illegal to do that. I moved away from the door and walked into the kitchen and grabbed some yoghourt.
" I've warned you about that" khaleel said walking into the kitchen
"what" I said with my mouth full
" first of all, do not talk with your mouth full and secondly. i'm not the one who is gonna be getting liver problem so..."
oh yeah, now I know what he was talking about. khaleel always warned me about standing and eating or drinking, he said it causes liver problem. I was done with the yoghourt anyways so I just trashed it.
"aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh" I heard ummy scream from her room. I looked at khaleel and both of us raced upstairs to her room.
" what happened" asked khaleel
" aida azlin followed me back" she squealed.
" who?" I asked
" aida azlin. you know that some one that every Muslim teen ought to look up to"
I'm still confused. " girls" I heard khaleel mutter before leaving the room.
its night time and I should be heading back home I'm sure Scott will be worried. he never really liked me staying out till this late. " bye" I said to ummy from outside their house and headed home.
my house was east street and theirs is west street so its like a five minutes walk from theirs to mine.
isn't that carter. I had new neighbors when I came back home the hospital and I'm just finding out that my neighbor is carter. oh no.
