i had really a lot of fun with lily today. we went to the circus and the water park. i cant believe we missed a whole day of school.
we are now at the door of her house and i just waved her good bye and now i just opened the door to the house. i tiptoed upstairs hoping mom will not catch me coming home after curfew.
i opened the door to my room slowly and switched on the light.
"where were you" i heard a voice. oh Jesus kill me right now. i turned around to see mom sitting in my bay window.
"answer my question" she said sternly. i sat next to her by the bay window. i scroll through my lie brain files. But i cant lie to her.
"i went out with a friend" i managed
"gender?"
"boy"
"you're lying. I saw when you when you said your good byes to her"
"fine. but i was cheering her up because she has family issues and needed it"
she sighed. "next time please call me that you're gonna be home late so i wouldn't be worried"
"i promise" i hugged her and she went off to go to bed. i jumped and layed on my bed.
as i drifted off to sleep. my brain went back to everything that happened today.

he is watching tv but as soon as i shut the door, he turned his attention to me.
