Expectations

Hoseok woke up by the alarm and found himself alone on the bed. He closed his eyes and concentrated to hear any sound from the washroom but there was none.

Hoseok hurriedly took a shower and got ready. He went downstairs in the dinning room where he found everyone except Taehee.

Taking a sit beside his father, Hoseok asked his mother for the whereabouts of Taehee because that was expected from him.

His mother smiled, "What? Can't stay away from your wife even for a small bit? "

Hoseok kept quiet and ate his breakfast.

"She wanted to see the garden", his father said after awhile.

Mrs. Jung excused her from the room and now only father and son remained in the room.

"I hope you have already taken first step to strengthen our union with Kangs", Mr. Jung said after wiping his mouth with napkin.

"Yes, father", Hoseok replied when he realised that his father was waiting for his answer.

"That's what I expect from you", Mr. Jung stood up but before he can leave the room, he stopped at the threshold and looked over his shoulder, "Don't disappoint me son", and he was gone.

Hoseok froze with the fork in his hand halfway to his mouth. He dropped the fork, losing whatever appetite he had and stood up.

While he walked in the hallway, he stopped to look out of the window. There he saw Taehee admiring the wide variety of flowers in the garden but never plucking any.
