And it didn't matter how absurd it felt to Hoseok and Mirae. Hoseok was totally against it and Mirae found everything too surreal to accept it.
"This is not right and you know it too" Hoseok's words were harsh when he let it fall out of his mouth.
"It's only right to unite two separated lovers" Taehee said unfazed.
"Do you even understand anything, Taehee? You are asking me to cheat on you with my past lover!" Hoseok accused Taehee and a tremor went through her body, causing her lose her breath for a moment. She took a deep breath to calm herself.
"Our marriage wasn't based on love, it was to solidify the deal between our companies. If the deal stays no matter what, then it doesn't matter if we are married or not"
"Then just divorce me this instant! Why wait? Just get out of my life as you so desperately want to. But don't make me do something that my conscience would never allow me to do."
"I would but we both know I can't. I have to make sure the deal stays. And it would be suspicious if I just left right now, we have to wait for few months to make it believable that things didn't work out between us" Taehee reasoned.
Hoseok laughed a hollow laugh. "Those vows doesn't matter to you huh? Because 'Screen flash', they matter to me. And I won't do anything that would break them!" Hoseok declared and left the room, slamming the door loudly behind him, leaving Taehee standing alone in the room with only her thoughts.
Conflicting thoughts.
Taehee looked out of the window at the full moon.
"Am I wrong, Eomma?" She whispered.

Hello, how are you guys doing? I know I haven't updated since ages, got a little sidetracked😅 TBH, when I started this Fanfic, I had a vague idea how I wanted this book to progress but now I don't know how to proceed. Its like I know the ending goal but don't know how to get there☹️ But I'll try to give this book a proper ending that it deserves and won't desert it 🤞
On the side note, I have another Jung Hoseok fanfic that is near to completion and you guys would hopefully like it😄 It's called 'Her Hope'
