Hoseok was reading a file when Taehee returned. Their eyes met and he quickly turns his gaze away.

Taehee closed the door and just stands there, clearly unsure what to do next.

Hoseok pitied her, it wasn't her fault that he is in love with someone else. Yes, it was an arranged marriage but she would have still got so many dreams and desires.

At that moment, Hoseok felt truly horrible, seeing her this listless pained him.

Hoseok closed the file and cleared his throat still not looking at Taehee directly.

"There's going to be a family dinner tonight with my Grandparents", Hoseok said finally looking at her.

"Okay"

Hoseok didn't knew that it would be the first word he'd hear from her.

Just by that one word, he realised that her voice was like honey. Sweeter, just like the honey he had directly from the honeycomb when he went to a farm with Mirae.

Hoseok mentally shakes his head to not think about her.

Taehee was still standing.

Hoseok got up from the chair and approached Taehee, "Are you fond of books? We have a decent home library. Do you want to see it?"

Taehee visibly perked at the prospect, "Yeah, sure"

Hoseok led her to the library and noticed how her footsteps doesn't make much noise.

Light as a feather.

Hoseok thought that he should at least try making this marriage work, not for him but for her. Afterall, she was innocent.
