Declaration

"Mirae?"

Mirae was helping in clean-up when she heard her name. Her eyes widen when she saw who was standing before her.

"Y-Yes Ma'am?"

Taehee laughed. "No need to call me Ma'am. Just call me Taehee."

"Yes Ma'am- I mean Taehee," Mirae felt nervous and uncertain before the woman who married the man she loves.

"No wonder Hoseok loves you" Taehee said with her unending smile.

Mirae was taken aback, "Ma'am..."

"You are pretty" Mirae open and close her mouth, unsure whether to thank her for the compliment or question her true intentions.

Hoseok rushed up towards them.

"What are you doing, Taehee? Come on, let's go!" Hoseok declared avoiding looking at Mirae.

"Don't worry, Hoseok. I was just telling Mirae how pretty she is and no wonder you love her so much"

"Taehee!" Hoseok was beyond shocked and didn't know what to do next. He looked at Mirae and they locked eyes.

"Now, Mirae I just want to know whether you still love Hoseok?" Taehee asked.

"It doesn't matter Ma'am, it won't change anything" Mirae deflected the question uneasily, discomfort written all over her face. She didn't look away from Hoseok and he felt guilt building up inside him.

"It does. It changes everything."

Mirae moved her gaze at Taehee, "What would you do if I say that I still love him?"

"I will get out of your way and divorce Hoseok." Taehee said without missing a beat.

Both Hoseok and Mirae were flabbergasted by Taehee's declaration.

"You...What?!" Hoseok splattered.

Taehee nodded. "I don't want to come between two lovers" She took hold of Mirae's hand,"Just give me few months to make sure that the divorce won't affect our companies"

Mirae shook her head and laughed in disbelief. "Are you out of your mind?"
