Dagger's pov

I went into the waiting room to find Joke, I scanned the room for a bit until I found him.

"Hey Joke, we ready?" I said standing over him.

"Yeah..." He said with a pretty depressing tone.

"Are you ok??" I asked sounding very concerned.

"Oh, yeah. I'm fine." He said even though I'm sure he's not fine.

We walked to his car, I layed down in the back not putting on my seat belt.because, fuck rules!

Joke's pov

Dagger had fallen asleep, he looked pretty cute not gonna lie. Wait what? Cute?? Stop with these gay thoughts Joke, you should be more focused on helping Dagger with his hanahkai. But I don't know who caused it... Oh God, these thoughts are stressing me out. I'll just focus on what we're going to do tonight.

Time skip to midnight

Joke's pov still

I started to cook some tacos for us, but then I see Dagger trying to climb up the fridge.

"What are you trying to do Dagger?" I asked trying not to giggle at him.

"Nothing!" He said quickly jumping down.

"You sure?" I asked making sure to keep my eyes on the skillet.

"Yep!" He said sitting down on top of the counter.

Dagger's pov

Joke got done making our food and once I got done I went into my room. My lungs started to have severe pain in them, it hurt like hell. White Roses, forget-me-nots, tulips, and Tiger Lilly's came out of my mouth. This time it hurts worse, probably because when I looked at the flowers they were whole, and some had the vines on them still. Am I going to die? Oh god, WHAT IF I AM!?!? I hope not.

I calmed myself down and got my phone out. I did a little research on my disease, turns out I need to confess my love.. Oh god... Or I could get the surgery..

Time skip to the next morning

Dagger's pov

I don't wanna get up, I don't wanna confess to Joke, I don't want this disease.. I mean I like Joke, I reallly like him. But I don't think he likes me. Oh god what am I gonna do!?

I finally got up and changed into some decent clothes. White shirt, black jeans, red Jacket, black and white shoes, and a flower crown. I'm planning on going to the mall to take my mind off of this.

I went down stairs and wrote a note for Joke

The note

"Hey Joke! I'm going to the mall and won't be back for a while. I'll probably be back by 9:00-9:30! 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮 by Dagger.

There was one letter crossed out.. Love

Dagger's pov still

I walked into the mall and instantly went into the clothes store. I looked at the dresses, I know I'm a guy, but I like to wear dresses sometimes to. I looked around for awhile until something caught my eye.
It was a light grey dress with lace at the bottom, I instantly bought the dress. I walked around looking at some more things but nothing else caught my eye.

Joke's pov

I woke being confused because Dagger wasn't here with me. I walked down into the kitchen to see if he was possibly down there. He wasn't down there, but I found a note that he left. I couldn't make out a word because it was scribbled out. 'Hmm what should I do since Dager isn't here?' I thought to myself. Maybe...Play a game? I have steam on my computer so I probably could play some new games.

(Author's note: I'm kinda running out of ideas during Joke's part right now, so that's why it's gonna be a bit bad.)

About one hour later I felt my phone buzz, I looked at what the notification was and it was a text from Dagger. He told me to meet him at the park near the old run down Lucky's at 11:41 pm.

It's already 10:29 pm already, I might as well get into some nice clothes before I waste time.

Dagger's pov

I was at my apartment trying to get this stupid fucking dress on.

OMG FUCKING FINALLY-

I finally got the dress on, it took me like 10 minutes, but it's going to be worth it! I just need to fix these high heel boots to now-

Timeskip

Ok so I finally got everything fixed, I just need to check the time. It's 11:00 pm now I might as well start driving there before Joke does.

Joke's pov

I grabbed my wallet, phone, car keys, and my necklace. My necklace is a charm for me, but I walked outside to wear my car is.

I got in and started to drive to the park.

I got to the park at 11:39 pm, just about time. I texted Dagger that I'm here and he said to go to the cherry blossom tree near the pond. I listened to him and went over to the cherry blossom tree.

Then I saw Dagger...

Dagger's pov

My anxiety started to kick in but I finally said it..

Joke, will you go out with me?
