I slowly open my eyes and saw the tv still playing the movie, I felt my cheeks were flooded with tears for no reason

"I love you"

Oh God Alex! I hurriedly stood up and try to find Alex on my room but couldn't find him anywhere

Was that a dream? But it felt so real..

I looked at my clock and it was 3:02 am, oh great devil's hour.

I wiped the tears on my eyes and tried to go back to sleep, but sadly, I couldn't. So I decided to take a shower.

After I was done taking a nice hot shower I grabbed a crop top and some sweatpants and head downstairs for breakfast.

I grabbed a glass of milk and some cookies,  I was about to grab some plate but I accidentally pushed the glass of milk and it broke on the floor

Ah shit.

I let out a sigh and grabbed the towel to wipe off the mess

"What was that?" I look up and saw Yuan a bit frightened

"Oh I accidentally pushed this glass of milk" I said

"Oh here let me help" He said getting the vacuum cleaner

"Couldn't sleep?" He said

"No, I actually had a wierd dream and couldn't go back to sleep." I said standing up

"Oh I see" He said nodding in understanding.

Me and Ice started to talk about random stuff in the dining table until the sun was up

"Morning guys" Said Xyrine yawning

"Oh morning, is Xavier up?" I said looking at her confused

"I dont know" She said shrugging

"Luke said we should be there around 6:50 am, so go get ready" She said taking some cereal and milk

"Alright" I said nodding and continued to eat the cookies.

The training with the recruits was actually turned out faster than I thought, and yet again I said they were fast learners so its a no hassle. I looked at my watch and it was already 1 pm

"Wanna grabbed some coffee?" Said Xyrine

"Hmm maybe not today" I said shooking my head

"Alright then" She said shrugging.

We got back to the mansion once again, I was eating chips while watching tv while I saw Xavier talking to the phone angrily

"What?! When?! An hour ago?!" He said with frustration while holding a glass of water in his left hand and the phone on his right hand

"Why didn't you told me sooner?! You bastards are dead!" He said throwing the glass of water

Damn this guy needs to chill out.

"Fine! I'll be there in a minute." He let out a sigh then head to the door and hurriedly got outside

I wonder what was that all about? Eh its his problem anyway.

Another hours had passed and I saw Dylan opening the main door and heading his way to me

"Venelope I have bad news for you." He said sitting next to me

"Is it that bad?" I said looking at him with worry

"Well I dont know if its that bad to you but.." He took a deep breath before he continued the sentence

"Alex is dead" He said looking at me

"Y-You're joking r-right?" I said while I started to stutter and small tears started to fall on my cheeks

"Im sorry.. We did the best we could but-"

"No, dont talk to me." I then stood up and ran upstairs and head to my room. I locked the door and sat at the floor while my knees started to loose balance

This is probably a bad dream.. Yeah just another bad dream, i'll wake up sooner and visit Alex. I started to keep myself together and try to stop myself from sobbing so much.

I knew it I shouldn't have agreed with mom and dad, I hate this life. Why does it have to be so unfair? Unexpected bad things always happens to be, I knew I should've just ended my life im so tired of this bullshit.

Thoughts were starting to fill up my mind. An hour has passed and I was still looking at floor blankly

This isn't a dream is it?

I started to get up and head to the body sized mirror next to my bed, I grabbed the remote control and broke the glass with it

Maybe this is the only answer, right? Yeah maybe.

While I tried to find the sharpest piece when Xavier started to bang loudly at my door

"VENELOPE OPEN THIS DOOR IMMEDIATELY" he shouted

I let out a sigh and finally found the right size and sharpness I need, I looked at it as tears started to fall down

"OPEN THIS GODDAMN DOOR!" Shouted Xavier while the banging got louder and stronger

I slowly closed my eyes and immediately stabbed my neck, my eyes started to get blurry and just in time the door opened widely.

"OPEN THIS GODDAMN DOOR!" I shouted and started to kick harder

"I'll grabbed the chair" Said Yuan behind me

"What? Why-" Before I could continue I saw him running while holding a metal stool

"Woah!" I then immediately stepped away from the door

"That was epic" Said Dylan behind me

When the door opened I immediately head inside and saw Venelope on the floor bleeding blood

"OH SHIT" I hurriedly ran up to her and carried her, bridal style

"CALL THE AMBULANCE HURRY" I shouted and Dylan nodded and dialed a number on his phone

"Oh God Venelope wake up" I said lightly shaking her, she didn't respond but I saw a glass on her neck

Goddammit I should've been next to her side

"They'll be here in a minute" Said Dylan putting his phone back to his pocket

"Minute?! She's dying here! I dont have enough to wait for that! Ice go drive the car." I said heading outside while Ice followed behind me.

"This is the nearest hospital right?" Said Ice looking at me through the rear view mirror

"Yes now hurry up! She's loosing blood!" I said, Ice nodded in response and stepped on the speed. We arrive at the hospital 2 minutes later and thank God we arrived just in time.

"Just wait here we'll inform you about her surgery later" Said the nurse, I nodded in response and sat down next to Ice

"I'll stay here tell Dylan he's gonna be in charge for a couple of weeks" I said letting out a sigh

"Alright.. Should I also.. Uh bring your clothes?" He said raising one eyebrow

"Why?" I said looking at him confused

"Your clothes and even your hands are covered in blood, you look like you just murdered someone" He said

"Fine, bring me clothes" I said rolling my eyes.

Its going to be a long week.
