Chapter 3

Tomorrow. Bella will meet him tomorrow. I don't know how or where, but it will be tomorrow.
She's nervous, I mean, why wouldn't she be? She's meeting her soulmate tomorrow! I'm nervous for her. Someone out there has the same set of numbers on their wrist and with each tick of the seconds a new butterfly hatches in their stomach.
"You okay?" I ask. Bella stops pacing the room and sits next to me. I place the magazine I'm reading down and turn to face her.
"To be honest, no. I'm not. I mean, what if they don't love me, or don't like me for who I am, disney loving, Potterhead, and I love marvel comics. What if he doesn't like all of my quirks? They make me well, me. I'm meeting him tomorrow, Alice. I don't know if I can handle it." She sighs, tears threatening to spill from her green eyes.
"Bella, listen to me. He is your soulmate. Your SOUL-MATE. he will love you. He will love your short brown hair and your emerald green eyes that sparkle in the light. He will love the freckles that slightly dot your nose and your kind heart as well. He will support you and your decisions you make also. You will love him. As much as he will love you. I promise." I say as I hold her hands in mine.
"You can't keep that promise." Bella stated wiping a tear that escaped her eye.
"I will" I reply with a small nod. "How long have you got?"
I look towards her wrist as she gave me the answer.
"One day, six hours, 45 minutes and 30 seconds" looking back up at me, I smile.
"It will be fine" I say reassuring her.
"Hopefully"
"Pancakes?" I question, already knowing the answer. "You know me so well, Alice."she smiled, walking towards the kitchen, I follow behind and sneak a glance at my wrist. I sigh and enter the kitchen, grabbing a bowl on the way.
Flour, butter, egg, milk, sugar and my special ingredient meet in the bowl as I stir the contents into a mix. After my special pancakes are finished and topped with ice-cream, I give Bella half the batch and watch for her reaction.
"Alice, your pancakes always satisfy" she hummed into another mouthful. I feel pride wash over me as I eat my share of pancakes.
Once the pancakes were devoured and the plates are washed, I made my way to the living room. Movie time.
"I'm watching the Avengers!" I shout to Bella, who is somewhere in the tiny apartment.
"Wait for me!" I hear a yell back before I feel the couch dip, notifying me she jumped on it.
"Don't jump on the couch" I warn "it'll ruin it"
"Okay, mum. Start the movie" I roll my eyes and her sarcasm and press play.
