Sis List and Bro Code (From the girls)

'The Bro Code' is a well known thing, yeah? Well what about one for girls?  The Sis List? 

I've made one up in my head, but I dont know if it will catch on. I've only got 6.

1) Sisters Before Misters.

2) Dont Ever Go Out with her Ex. No matter how cute he is!

3) Dont ever EVER laugh at her about her crush. EVER!

4) Dont go out with her Crush.

5) ALWAYS be there for her. Heartbreak, sadness, happiness, anger, pain, laughter and fun. HAVE HER BACK

6) Dont ever judge her! 

I, Amelia Raffo, made up the Sis List.

And It's been broken by ALL of my sis's.

If your so called 'best friends' ever do any of this to you, then I'm sorry to inform you, but they aren't your best friends. 

Have you ever had your heart broken by her? Stomped on by her? I've cried, right there in front of her because she broke rule 4. She broke rule 4, and I had to listen to rule 2. 

After I got out of that sticky situation, Rule 4 was broken AGAIN by my other 'sis'. Now neither of them are here for me for rule 5.

Sometimes I really want to slap them across the face for doing it to me. But then it would make me the bad guy. So instead, I plastered a fake smile on my face and pretended I was okay with it. I wasnt. And I payed the price of a broken heart.

Whilst I was over here, being a good friend, they were over there breaking the rules.

Now I know what you're thinking. "Omg, stop! The Sis List isn't even a thing! How could they know the rules if you made it up?!" And the answer to that is simple:

Maybe a little common sense wouldn't hurt?

Maybe if they thought for a second oh hey, Amelia likes him, I'll back off or maybe I could talk to her about it and see if she's okay with it. 

I mean, c'mon! It shouldn't be that hard! 

If I'm the only one that is going to stick to these goddamn rules then so be it! But if we all did, the world would be a much nicer place to live in! 

Sick of me yet? Sick of my bitching? Well I'm not done yet. This next bit is for the boys.

Dudes, if you like someone, ask them out!! Especially if you know they like you back! 

If you tell a girl you like her, don't go to her bestfriend and tell them that you like them as well! It hurts! We feel like we have to compete for you and that usually doesn't end well for one of us!

Don't just like a girl for their appearance. I mean, sure appearance is nice, but whatever is on the inside of her counts too! And if you don't include that then there is something wrong with you!

Stand up for her!!!! If someone puts her down and she doesn't stand up for herself, she's either given up, can't be bothered, or is silently asking for help. Do it anyway! You dont know how much this will help you.

Don't be a dickhead to her. Simple as that. Treat her like a Queen and she'll treat you like a King.

Dont just look at this and go ugh a rant because it's not! This will save someone from a heartache and a heartbreak. Wanna know why?

Because I've experienced all of these. And they are 100% true. So listen to it. Breathe it. Repeat it. Eat it. I dont care as long as the Sis List or the Bro Code (from us girls) is imprinted in your brain!!

hi, so i just thought i'd clear things up;

my name isn't Amelia Raffo, i made it up for personal reasons

and i did make up the 'Sis List' and the rules in it, if you have anymore tell me and I'll edit it and put it in here!
