Melissa felt exausted. She had spent all day working and when she arrived to her house she still had to deal with the mess that there was in her room. It had been how long since she last cleaned? No, she wasn't a disorganized or messy person, however the last few day had been busy, since she was working a lot and when she got to her home, she only wanted to sleep. However, in that friday, she had decided that she wouldn't let her tiredness win and so she did. When she arrived to her house, she took a bath and started to clean all the mess around the house. Ok, maybe it wasn't just her bedroom that was messy.

At the sound of  "Just My Type", she organized the living room, it even had an ice-cream pot empty. She asked herself how could she make the house be that messed if she barely was there.  However she didn't found any logical answer for it.

"She lets me down, then gets me high. Oh I don't know why, she's just my type" she sang around, loudly. However, she was forced to stop singing when the bell rang. Who could possibly be at the door at that time? She asked herself, and once again she found no answer.
She passed a hand in her hair, that was in a bun, trying to look decent, but she was sure that she had failed that mission. She lowered the sound and went to the door, opening it quickly and she was surprised when she saw who it was.

"Oh! hi, Chris!" she said, surprised. What was he doing at her door? And the most important thing of, why did he have to show up when she looked so messy?

"Sorry if I scared and bothered you" he said, with a shy smile, that made Melissa ask herself how could someone have such a beautiful smile.

"Oh, you don't need to apologize"  she said while she felt her face blush "do you need anything?"

"Well..., I was trying to install the TV system in my house, but it's not working for some reason. So, I was wondering if I could see how yours works?" He asked, shy.

"Yes, of course." she said, inviting him in "I'm sorry for the mess, I was cleaning it right now"

Chris seemed to ignore her comment. He looked at the TV , that was in the living room. The living room was all in light tones, near the couch there was a vacuum cleaner and a small soundbox.

"Well...,  I've figured out how it's installed." Chris said after some minutes "Thank you" he said preparing himself to go away.

Melissa wanted him to stay, because she felt the need to talk with him, she needed  to listen to him speaking or smiling in a shy way. She needed to get an excuse to him not to go, even if it meant him staying only for a few more minutes.

"Uhm...,before you go... I,  I have some random problem with the plumbing in my kitchen, could you check it? I really don't want to call a plumber" it wasn't a lie. She really had a problem in the kitchen, but she already had called  a plumber he would come in the following week.

"Yes. Of course" he anwered, surprising Melissa, that took him to the kitchen.

As Chris tried to fix the problem, Melissa watched him. She tried not to smile, but it became  impossible when he looked up and smiled at her, standing up.

"Thank you so much, I don't even know how to thank you"  Melissa thanked and  Chris smiled nicely at her.

"You don't need to thank me, it was the least I could do. If you need anything else, you can call or text me" Chris said

"Thank you so much. And I don't have your number" she dared to say. She didn't know where did she had that bravery to say something like that, but maybe was the urge to having him closer, speaking louder.

"Oh,  that's right! Do you have your phone there?"  he asked and she nodded, giving him the phone in order to him to mark the number of his phone.

"I'll text you later" Melissa said, before they both heard a noise coming from her backyard.

"Is somebody outside?" Chris asked, frightened. It had been a really loud sound.

"No, I live alone" Melissa answered, wondering what had just happened in her backyard. "excuse me  I think I must go and see what it is"

"I'll go with you, it can be someone, some thief or something. Who knows" Chris said, Melissa nodded walking into the backyard.
