As soon as Melissa left to work, leaving the Dauphin of France and the Queen of Scots alone, , Francis thought of a way to start a formal conversation that didn't end in a fight with Mary, but the truth was that he didn't know how to do it. It had been years since he had a random conversation with her, all they had were based on the kingdom's issues and in the wedding that was approaching. But he had to try, because he couldn't spend hours quiet next to her.
" Mary, are you well? - Francis asked, sitting next to her and gently deviating her hair from the face. Mary blushed with his action, and for a moment the prince was relieved that she didn't killed him
"Yes, I'm well, is just that this- Mary said pointing to the TV -" it's amazing. Do you want to try?" she asked, giving him the TV remote.
"So, how does this work?" - Francis asked.
"You didn't heard what miss Melissa explained?" - Francis nodded in denial. "You must pay morre attention to things , Francis! In the castle there's rumours that you don't pay attention in anything and that is why you're not ready to be the next King, that the next King should be your brother, Bash."
"And what do you think about that?" - Francis asked, surprised by the fact that they were finally having a civilized conversation, that didn't involved screams, even though he still was being judged.
"I think that you should try to use the Tv remote, we must adjust into this new reality" - Mary said, changing the topic. She didn't want to rise his hopes, saying that besides everything she thought he was ready to take the job.
"So, how does that so called Tv remote?"- Francis asked.
Mary explained, taking in account what Melissa had said some minutes before. She was proud of herself fore remembering with details what Benoist had said to her.
"In France, we live again moments of a politic crisis" - the news started, as soon as the Dauphin of France turned on the TV.
"Oh, my God" - Stuart said- "Turn up the volume, Francis. Touch those buttons there!"
"Wich ? These?" Francis asked changing the channel.
" No, these!" - Mary said, trying to return to the channel they were before.
They kept trying to come back to the news channel, but didn't had any luck. When both were already desesperate, they stopped in a channel that was airing in that exact moment a scene of a gay kiss. They looked at eachother in shock, and turned off the Tv. They were truly shocked and couldn't even talk about it.
