Gerard's P.O.V
Time Lapse>>>>>>>>>>
One month later.
"You've gone to a lot of trouble for this wedding." Mikey says with a smile.
We were sat in my kitchen talking about what plans I had made for my wedding to Venus next week. Just one more week to go. Then I will be married to Mrs Venus Way. Everything was ready. All Venus had to do was sort a dress. I told her the colour. She just had to sort it.
"She's worth it." I said with a smile.
"I'm so glad you have her." Mikey muttered. "I've never seen you this happy. I love seeing you like this."
My smile widens. "Yeah. I'm very happy." I tell him. "I've never met anyone like Venus before. She's...amazing. "
Mikey smiles.
Venus P.O.V
I sigh as I head for the front door. I open it to reveal karen Foster, my dress maker. She was holding a large wedding dress size black bag on a coat hanger. It covered the entire dress. She smiled.
"Hello, Miss Gardener." She said, cheerfully. "I have your dress."
I smile back at her as I take possession of the dress. "Thank you." I say back.
We exchange goodbyes then I turn to see Gerard and Mikey just emerging from the kitchen.
"That the dress, sweetheart?" Gerard asks as he approaches me.
"Yes." I say as he kisses my cheek. "I'm going to take it to the spare room."
I head upstairs and hang the dress on the wardrobe door. I close the bedroom door and lock it. Then I remove the dress from the bag and put it on the manakin bought for just this purpose. I stand back and look at the dress. Gerard told me the wedding colours were black, red and white. My favourite colours. So the dress was black. Short at the front. Barely covering my knees. Long at the back. It had red netting inside the skirt area. No straps or sleeves. The bodice had red ribbon up the front. All the red was dark. The veil was a long black one. Where the back of the dress hit my ankles, the veil would trail a few feet behind me. I had black tights and a pair of high heel ankle boots that lace up at the front. To complete the outfit was black lace long gloves. I hope it fits with Gerards theme. Well I'll find out in just one week.
