It has been two days since Kyoko first appeared in Ryuga's apartment. He, luckily, was able to persuade the headmaster of the academy to give him the two days off. While he was away from school, he took his sister around town, showing her whatever she desired. They visited a museum, aquarium, and other famous locations in this fine city.

However, all good, or in this case, dreadful, things must come to an end. Ryuga bid farewell to his sister as he walked out of his apartment door. The sky was clear and blue... something Ryuga hated. His eyes struggled to adjust from the dark apartment to the bright outside. He started walking towards the school from memory, only able to look at where his feet were, due to the blinding sunlight.

Ryuga: "I really should have brought some sunglasses.."

As he walked, he thought about the school and the people he has met so far. Yumeko has not contacted him for these two days, but that is only to be expected since he does not have her email, phone number, or any other contact information. He hasn't seen her since the day he walked out after winning against the Student Council President in a small game of rock-paper-scissors. He began to wonder how she spent her two days while he was gone, but then he stopped walking.

A car sped past him, just a couple of feet in front of him. He looked up to find himself at an intersection. If it wasn't for his cautious attitude, he might have clumsily walked right into the street to become roadkill. On the opposite side of the intersection, he saw a female student with black hair, wearing his school's uniform, walking along the path to the school.

He took one step forward, then abruptly stopped. The female student wasn't who he thought she was. He chuckled a little and put a hand over his eyes.

Ryuga: "Why do I keep thinking about her? Am I, possibly, entranced?"

???: "Entranced? Oh, like a spell!?"

Ryuga almost jumped into the traffic, before looking behind him. The eerie coincidence of Yumeko Jabami standing there smiling at him freaked him out a little, but he couldn't help but feel slightly relieved seeing her again.

Ryuga: "You startled me, Ms. Jabami."

Yumeko: "Oh deary me, I didn't mean to. I was just so excited to see you again after two days! Why didn't you tell me that you were going to take a leave of absence?"

Her body language took a curious look, while she placed her finger under her chin and tilted her head cutely. Ryuga tried not to get shaken up by this adorable gesture.

Ryuga: "Oh that, right. Forgive me, but my sister surprisingly visited me and I had to take a couple of days off to show her around the city."

Yumeko: "Your sister? That's awesome! I'm a big fan of her!"

Ryuga: "Yeah you've told me. Is she an inspiration or something?"

Yumeko: "Yeah! She's really strong-willed and motivated. She's a big inspiration to a lot of women."

Ryuga: "Well it's nice to hear that my sister is doing better than me."

He gave out a light chuckle, something Yumeko didn't understand. Ryuga figured that she would try to "cheer him up" like other women have when he said something similar, but Yumeko just stared at him with that cute, confused look. This bewildered him even more so. Of course, he was happy that his sister was doing well, and, frankly, he didn't mind being the least successful of his family, but, usually, people would try to comfort him when he said something like that. Joking about his family's success versus his own was always slightly funny to him, but others didn't understand it. After both of the students stared at each other with curiosity, Ryuga noticed, out of the corner of his eye, that the crosswalk light had changed.
