Chapter 10 (part 1)

Maria P.O.V.
The stupid sun woke me up ugh. I haven't slept this good in a while and now the stupid sun has to wake me- wait. Why is my body pillow so hard, it’s supposed to be super soft. I opened my eyes and oh my I had something nice to see. I was lying next to shirtless Lucifer and he was hugging me. How did I end up in this situation? I laid there for a sec trying to remember and then it hit me... We talked about my parents and I started crying. That’s when he hugged me and I fell asleep like that. Well now I am hungry from crying and I need to get something to eat... but I can't get out of Lucifer’s hug. He was keeping me close to him the same way I fell asleep last night and his grip was ridiculously strong. I have to get up but I don't want to wake him up... I wish I could just teleport myself but of course I didn't get that ability from my grandma... I tried to wiggle my way out when I woke Lucy up by accident.
-Mmmh- good morning pup. I have to admit I haven't slept this good in centuries.- he had that stupid cute smirk again.
-Morning Lucy. Yeah same here, but I am hungry and sorry I woke you up I didn't mean to.- I blushed for no particular reason because his nickname for me is really stupid.
-No worries, I am also hungry.
-Yeah but before we go to the kitchen you should probably put a shirt on, I think you don't need Asmo commenting on your body this early in the morning.- lies... I just didn't want anyone staring at him...
-Yeah good point.- he put on a shirt and we went to the kitchen. Nobody got up yet since it was about 9am and we stayed up until 2 or 3 in the morning. I started making pancakes, I would need to make a lot since I have both Angela and Beel in here now.
-Umm Lucy...
-Yes pup?- he looked at me curiously.
-Don't tell your brothers who I am just yet if you haven't told them already. And don't call me pup in front of them, it would be hard to explain why are you calling me that.
-Sure thing pup, I won’t tell them... But I don't promise that I won’t use that nickname.- I sighed, he is impossible. Just when I was about to finish making breakfast Beel and Angela screamed behind me
-PANCAKES!!!!!- and let me tell you I never saw someone eat that fast like Beel did, and Angela was not a lot behind him...
-Breathe, both of you or you will choke on food.- Lucifer said while I didn't know should I be laughing my ass of or should I be worried.
-What did you two do last night when you are so hungry jeez.- they stopped eating and were both blushing.
-Oh my... just forget I said anything and please erase that from my mind...
-Woops…- Angela said and gave me a big smile.
-Woops won’t get you out of the chit chat we will have latter miss.- I said in a very serious tone but inside I was laughing. Four other brothers also came to the kitchen and started eating.
-This is really good, Maria have you made this?- Satan asked me between munches.
-Well I made pancakes, but Lucy made waffles.
-Lucifer? Was cooking? Nope I don't believe it.- Mammon said and put back the waffle he took and instead took a pancake on his plate.
-I have made waffles yeah, but just because I believed Maria sucks at cooking like in everything else so I didn't want you to have food poisoning.
-Well if I suck at cooking then why are you eating my pancakes Lucy?
-I said I believed you suck at cooking, past tense.- I rolled my eyes at him and realized two more seats were empty. Just as I was about to yell for Milie and Belphie to come eat before Beel and Angela eat everything, the two of them came out of the bedroom yawning.
-Good morning.- they both said in unison,
-What’s that it smells amazing?- Belphie asked while sitting down.
-Maria made pancakes and Lucifer, believe it or not, has made waffles.- Levi said while putting syrup on his waffle. Belphie put the waffle back and took a pancake.
-So pancake it is.- he said and I stick my tongue at Lucifer.
-See? Even your own brothers like my food better than yours.- He rolled his eyes at me and for the rest of the breakfast we were silently enjoying our meals.
After we had breakfast the boys left to take their stuff back to their apartment and after we will meet on the beach.
-So I know Angela had fun last night... and what about you Milie?
-Well let’s just say I had fun while I was in the living room, and way more fun with Belphie afterwards.-I rolled my eyes and laughed and before I could say something else Angela asked me…
-What about you Maria? Have you had fun with Lucy?- I wanted to tell her only I can call him that but I didn't want to sound jealous, and I didn't care...
-We had a pillow fight, I showed him my fangs and blue eyes, we talked about my parents, he gave me a lecture about smoking, oh and Diavolo is coming here today to meet with me...- they were laughing at the pillow fight but then they went pale.
-You showed him what?
-And Diavolo is coming here? Angela and Milie were really serious right now. I took a deep breath and then told him everything except our talk about my parents.
-Do you trust him about Diavolo?- Angela asked me clearly worried.
-Yes. No. Maybe. I don't know, I want to trust him but I will be on alert just in case. I won’t let anyone hurt you two.- They both hugged me and I hugged them back, I love hugs and I need it right now.
-We might be humans but we are here foe you okay?- Milie said to me and I nodded.
-What do you mean “we might be human”? I'll kick their asses human stile if they touch my Maria!- Angela was dead serious about this which made me laugh. I love them.
-Even though I love you two and I love your hugs, the boys should be on the beach soon and we should get going.- They laughed and let me go and we left to the beach.
We were chilling in the water playing volleyball when I noticed Lucifer was not there. I turned around to look at the spot where we left our clothes just to meet with a very familiar brown haired guy with yellow eyes... one and only... Diavolo.
I started walking towards him and Lucifer. I was scared but I haven't let it show. When I finally came up to them I was first to speak.
-Hi Diavolo. No time long see.- he was looking at me for a few seconds... and then he... hugged me? I was really surprised but I hugged him back. He was about two heads taller than me, just like I remember.
-Ev- I mean Maria, I haven't seen you in thousands of years. Your hair is black now? And you seem a bit taller as well.- I laughed.
-Yes but still not tall enough to not break my neck looking at you.- we both laughed while Lucy was watching us. Why was I even scared? Diavolo was always a sweetheart, he is nothing like his father.
-Hey where is Barbatros? Is he still your babysitter?
-He is not my babysitter, he is my butler!! And I left him in the Devildom to watch over the castle while I am here.- he hasn't changed a bit and I bet Barbatros is still babysitting Diavolo even though he is a Lord now.
Lucifer P.O.V.
We were in the water playing volleyball when I suddenly felt existence of someone with powerful magic. I turned around and realized Diavolo was standing at the top of the beach and was watching us. I walked to him and he greeted me with a smile.
-Hello Lucifer, it seems to me that you and your brothers are having a lot of fun up here in the Human world.
-Hello Diavolo. Yes we actually do have fun in here three girls that we met here are pretty interesting.- I saw he was looking at my brothers and girls playing volleyball, Maria had her back turned towards us so Diavolo couldn't see her.
-She is the one that has her back toward us, and before she sees us, don't call her Evie, it appears to me that she doesn't want to accept that name.
-Hm alright, but how do you know that?- before I could answer I noticed Maria was looking at the two of us. She started walking towards us not breaking eye contact with Diavolo. I know she was scared but her face was unreadable. She looked really calm. When she finally came up to us she was first to speak.
-Hi Diavolo. No time long see.- I looked at Diavolo who was just staring at her for a few seconds, and then he hugged her. I don't know why but I felt jealous, I wanted to tell him to get away from her and that only I can hug her, but he was her relative so I kept my mouth shut. Her laugh broke me out of my thoughts and I realized the two of them were talking and laughing about something.
-We should sit, we have so much to talk about since we haven't seen each other for a long time...- Maria said and Diavolo agreed. When Diavolo turned his back she gave me a big smile and mouthed “thank you”. I smiled, I am glad that she is happy. Later on my brothers and Angela and Milie joined us and we were talking and laughing at Maria's stories about Diavolo when he was little, but also at Diavolo's stories about Maria as a kid. She had some anger issues and she has them now, just like Satan. We were talking and laughing till late at night.
